Door Hanger

Morning and we have a new Just For Fun challenge at A Inky Mess and I decorated a door hanger using Decoart paints,crackle paste,2 stencils,bird and sentiment stamp from Crafty Individuals the sentiment says Fill each day with joy but light kept catching so not clear in pic,Cosmic Shimmer gilding polish in blossom and gold,flower die from Memory Box and centre gem from stash.I have got a bit fed up of commenting on cards and thinking ooh I have that die somewhere-sooo I got my box of card offcuts and cut one of each die mainly the smaller ones which get forgotten about and going to stick them on a large sheet so I can see at a glance what dies I have -even found a few I didn't even realise I had and have never been used!!!

    Oh wow this is fabulous; so full of colour and texture :-)

    I did a similar thing the other week; cut all my dies and put them in a reference album along with all my stamps - big job lol!

    I think most of us have unused stuff in my stash. I do, love them, but haven't gotten around to use them all for some reason. It feels good when I do though. It's fun to make and see something different, I think this door hanger looks artsy and love those birds incorporated in the design.

    Love the effects of this unique doorhanger. I like the random stamping (or black embossing...not sure which is it) but it looks like one of the old C/B EF's that reminds me of the metal toolboxes on the trucks! Very effective with your other techniques. I've been trying to work with some crackle paste, and nothing has been successful as yet, so I'm very impressed with the good look that you've achieved with this project. Always lovely embellies too! Good work! TFS & glad you got your dies & folders sorted! Nice to find some you didn't remember having! LOL.
