Morning and we have a new Just For Fun challenge at A Inky Mess.I made a canvas and made my first Dirty Pour using Pebeo Prisme paints-I covered the canvas with the darker ones then dropped the lighter ones into it simple and effective really please with this one ---and--- no mishaps yay !!!Okay I lied---Holly took one look and said it looks like the starry night-which is was supposed to be but wasn't dry enough when I dripped the white spread so much I made a few squiggles on them-now they look like little sea creatures!!!

A beautiful canvas Carol, the colours are gorgeous.

I like to find shapes that can be imagined into something and rework the negative/positive spaces to bring them out. Some see starry nights, I see a moonlight garden...
ReplyDeleteStunning! I love the effects you got with the lighter colors. Sounds like you did a different technique from what I tried (mixing the colors in a cup and then pouring). I really love the look of this, and isn't it such fun? It does look like a night sky and you have so much texture too! Good work! TFS & Hugs (and the blog issue is the pits - but at least I can find the comments at Design, Settings, Awaiting publication - so far!)
ReplyDeleteGreat project, thank you for joining us at Classic Design Team Challenge Blog.

ReplyDeleteI am sorry I have been gone for so long, life just got a little hectic. And just look at what I have been missing, this looks amazing. The texture and shapes put me in mind of Van Gough's Starry Night painting.
