Moss Fairy and embossing with Lemon Shortbread

Morning everyone and the start of another week -the last week of this month-time flies.We have a new challenge at "Get Creative Challenges" which is -Must include embossing-and our sponsor is Lemon Shortbread (love that name)and I chose the beautiful image "Moss Fairy with Skull" coloured with promarkers and glossy accents on wings,cardstock from Papermill Direct,the B.paper is embossed and been in my stash for yonks.I then used my new leaf EF on some craft mag freebie paper and then ran distress ink pad ove the top,moth cut from TH papers,chipboard owl,wooden heart,string, and dies from stash.I frantaged the owl and moth -then sprayed card with picket fence and iced spruce distress sprays.

What a great card and such a contrast between the image and the backing. The backing is really beautiful with those woodland colours and the look of texture. The image is fun, and coloured beautifully.

Embossing patterned paper, that's a great idea! I don't think I've ever used anything but plain colored paper myself. Love how it looks, I must try that...
