Peeping Cats and New Addition

Morning and time for the new Animals challenge chosen by Samantha at Sparkles Monthly.  I jumped in and stamped and clear embossed the film strip stamp from Chocolate Baroque, then added the die-cut cats heads-bought from a decluttering site and no name on the pkt. I stamped Mooch a Lavinia stamp I was sent by a blogging friend a few years ago and think I have only used once! The little bird was a Woodware stamp from the Creative Stamping freebie set-then it struck me I should have made a background first!!! I added some washi tape-had that a couple of years too and unused, a border  stamp from Crafters Companion-not used that for quite a while too, a little script added with an old craft mag freebie stamp-but still not sure.

UPDATE---

Finally a little bit of good news-this is Coco, Helens new little Dachshund 8 weeks old puppy-she is so tiny and her tail never stops wagging.

Beautiful Sunflowers

 Morning and I have a sunflower card today after finding the sunflower images whilst decluttering, they were from Gecko Galz a few years ago when I had a printer. The brand new first time used triptych die is from Amazon, papers on two panels of the back are from Crafters Companion and I put a white card panel in the middle for writing a message.

Diamond Point and Daisies

 Morning and it's time for a new No Rectangles/ATG challenge at A Place to Start. I made my favourite Diamond Point card shape, one of the Woodware images from a new stamp set free with the Creative Stamping magazine -purchased after I saw some of the images on Paulines blog. I stamped the image and coloured with my  Helens new Kalour pencils, I then embossed with long forgotten Ranger Ultra thick embossing powder to make it look framed. Spellbinders die-cut frame, ribbon from stash and papers from Crafters Companion. Really pleased how this turned out.

Birthday Tulips

 Morning- I have made this card design before in a different colourway-here but looking back think I preferred the first one lol- but liked the design and the beautiful tulip stamp so made another one for some ones birthday. Tulip stamp is from Sweet Poppy, stamped three times and coloured with promarkers, I then stamped the flower heads again for depth, die-cut frame from Spellbinders and papers are from Crafters Companion. Ribbon from stash and sentiment stamp from Penny Black.

The next blow we have been dealt-Millie (15yrs)who never leaves our garden has not been seen for three days. We have searched the house/garden from top to bottom and asked neighbours-not a sign so we presume she has found somewhere quiet to die, she has been deteriorating since John died.

UPDATE-5th day and Millie has just walked in, skinnier than usual and starving.

 Morning, I have a Summery card using  Stampin Up  papers, stamps from AALL&Create coloured with promarkers. dies from My Favourite Things, the circle stamps were punched out with a Tonic punch.

Happy birthday and Football

 Morning and WOW halfway through another month and time for our new challenge at Sparkles Monthly and Dawn is asking for a Kids Card this month. My Grandsons are 10 and 13 and both in football teams but have used these dies before for them  I used a die-cut set I bought from someone on a  decluttering site a couple of years ago and there was no packaging, The smooshed background was a premade piece in scrap drawer just had to cut a couple of inches off the bottom and the sentiment is a Penny Black stamp. One top is coloured with a promarker and the other cut from a scrap of Stampin Up p, paper, the cup was cut from silver mirri card  and you wouldn't believe how many pics it took!!! This is the best to show the silver but unfortunately the rest of the colours look washed out!!!

Not a Happy Day

 Morning and not a happy day here today,  it's two years today John died and sadly yesterday Helen had to have her little dog Suki put to sleep, plus we have had Matthew in hospital for the last three weeks!!!

Still life has to go on and I will be back tomorrow with a DT card.
