Mushrooms? and a Mystery

 Well I am back after a few days in bed after collapsing with low blood pressure and dehydration and I got into trouble as son and daughter were in bed asleep and I went downstairs for something and collapsed in a heap "at the bottom thankfully" couldn't get up or shout and laid there for half an hour before I managed to get back to bed.

Anyway I have a mystery for you before I post my card-this is the AALL&Create stamp - I used-take note of the number 5 next to the mushrooms.

and this is the image I stamped out-check out where the number 5 is and please tell me I have not lost the plat and you can see what I can-can you see a face?

now as I had already coloured it I stamped the bottom half again and just cut out the numbers. Image was coloured with promarkers and added glossy accents, b, papers from Paper Favourites.

Another Giraffe lol.

 Morning and time for the mid month(already!) inspiration for the Cute Critters/ATG challenge at Stamping Sensations-which is sadly our last challenge.

I used the Giraffe stamp and sentiment from Pink Ink, coloured with promarkers, sentiment die from Tonic, stencils from Creative Expressions and My Favourite Things. Circle and scallop die from The Works. B, paper was an oddment in stash and I added glossy accents onto the sunglasses. Pretty straightforward you might think-WRONG-this pretty simple card took me a full and I mean full after-noon-I cut an aperture in a card then realised I needed the p, paper, so added paper to another card and cut another aperture, stamped the image onto the offcut-slightly off so stamped another then die-cut. Stamped and cut out glasses, added glossy accents and left to dry, caught them with my sleeve, so another pair stamped and cut-when I finished the card thought they were dry-wrong -so another pair stamped and cut then left to dry all night! Fluffed the colouring on the giraffes eye lashes, but by this time and as the image was already stuck down thought it will pass. I also cut the giraffes lower face and ears from the first image and put them on 3-D foam.

Sketch Challenge

 Morning, I saw a sketch on Alysons blog for the latest Atlantic Hearts challenge which I really liked-while in bed knitting I thought ooh I have some snippets of Bee paper so made this card. Paper from Crafters Companion, snippets of Bee paper from Creative World of Crafts, die-cuts from Spellbinders, Memory Box and Hero Arts, sentiment from Penny Black and ribbon bow from stash. I coloured the poppies to match some flowering in the garden at the moment.

Late Snowdrops

 Morning and time for a new ATG/Fancy Fold  challenge at A Place to Start. I made an easel card using the snowdrops stamp  from Sweet Dixie and coloured with promarkers with a stencilled background from My Favourite Things. P, paper from Crafters Companion, die-cut borders with I am sure a Tattered Lace die and sparkly gems from Twinkle Goosebumps  which I received in a card swap and these are the last four,  circle dies from The Works and metal brad from stash-had years! All my snowdrops have long gone to be replaced with patches of beautiful Bluebells and orange and yellow Poppies.

You Having a Giraffe?

 Morning and time for a new "Cute Critters"/ATG challenge at Stamping Sensations which was chosen by Anesha and  sadly after 16years this will be our last challenge.

There are four die sets and printed reflections prizes from Highlight Crafts.

I used the Giraffe stamp, sentiment and foliage stamp from Pink Ink, coloured with promarkers, die-cut leaves I have had for years and think they were a craft mag freebie and coloured with Distress ink. Background stencil from Creative Expressions and an oddment of paper which only needed a half inch cutting off from Crafters Companion. Corners rounded with a very neglected X Cut punch.

Nature ATCs

 Morning and time for the mid month inspiration for the ATG/Inspired by Nature challenge at Stamping Sensations.

My mojo has gone awol and after going through my stamps twice decides to make 3 ATCs-quick and easy. A stamp set from AALL&Create coloured with promarkers, flowers stamped twice and fussy cut, little Ladybirds with added glossy accents from Pink Frog, border stamp and p, paper  from  Crafters Companion. There is defintely more green in the background IRL and more depth in the flower colours!

RANT ALERT

Fingers crossed I am back with more time after the last three weeks and thank goodness I had the DT cards already made. 

First of all my vacuum cleaner went then the next day my washing machine broke down-leaking oil on the wash load. I got a new vacuum and washer, 3 was loads done then it leaked for three days before they could come back for it- a neighbour unshipped it for me but it still leaked, then the next day we had no hot water or central heating as for some reason it had emptied the boiler! 

Got a new washer from somewhere else(currys) and no problems even sent me 6months of Ariel wash pods for buying the washer.

THEN the council turned up to fit extractor fans in kitchen and bathroom, hammering and drilling from 12am till 5pm-then the electrician drilled through a water pipe!!! So a hole in the wall and ceiling? They also pulled my washer out??? Then next day I had to get neighbour round again as no idea what they had done but during the wash it was bouncing about!Now plastered and waiting for electricians to finish off on Monday-in between we had a woman from the council to inspect the house ready for downsizing(again) and she is sending a surveyor round as we are an end house and side wall looks like there is subsidence -so more form filling. Now awaiting outcome and hopefully a move finally. Rant over and hopefully catch up with all commenting.
