MOrning and hope you are all safe and well -our first day of Spring and hope you all remembered to change the clocks?-I have a journal page to share using a brayer mop up background and butterflies stamps from Chocolate Baroque and craft mag freebies.The stamped sentiment was also a craft mag freebie.I stamped on to the journal page/book pages and used a paint brush top as a butterfly body and doodled round the edges.

Love and Hope

Thank you for all your lovely comments on my previous post for my daughters painting and she would like to thank you all.
My card today was inspired by the Tracy Evans live on FB.The background was brayered with a Decoart acrylics(neglected stash) which I went slightly heavy handed on.
Then brayered pale grey acrylic onto a TH stencil then put onto background reverse side down.
Homemade texture paste through the same stencil
I stamped with a grunge stamp from Studiolight once onto the background,then onto more painted card and a bookpage,then layered the hearts and words,with thread added under the hearts,added a can ring pull and splatters to finish.

A Journal Page and Art

Morning and hope you are all staying safe and healthy with plenty of toilet rolls lol I am stressing and not sure when we will see Grandaughters again!!!.My sons studio has closed and his partners nursery has closed too-my daughter works in a care home so is still working-eldest sons job has closed but his wife is an OT -in mental health and is working from home.
Could I just share my daughters first try at using oil paints,

I have ajournal page to share today using Carte Postale from AALL&Create-a couple of texture stamps round the edges-a postage stamp-postcards stamped on to kraft card and cut out from an old World Travel rubber stamp set from Rubber Stampede I have had for quite a few years.
A couple of pieces of book pages and the background was a mop up of inks from mat -I drew lines round the stamp with a fineliner pen and ruler and added shadow round the postcards and book page scraps.

Rose Stem Script

Morning and can I just thank you for all the comments on my teabag holder -nettle tea is delicious and good for the digestion-I have a CAS card to post-the background was made just swiping distress ink pads.
I then stamped a Chocolate Baroque Rose Stem Script stamp onto the card,p.paper and a book page then 3-D the actual flower and leaves-then I added a strip of book page---done.

Nettle Teabag Holder

Morning and I have a teabag holder to share -I have used green because it is to house my nettle tea teabags.

I made the box and lid out of heavy card then matted P.paper from The Works onto green card-ribbon/pearls and metal brad from stash,The butterfly was a craft mag freebie stamp,I made a small rosette for the lid and the foliage dies (on the side which I forgot to photograph!)are from Creative Expressions.The cup of nettle tea image was courtesy of google.

Fantasy Fae and Lace

Morning and I have made a card using Fantasy Fae 12 from Morgans Artworld which was one of three images I won at Creative Moments.
I coloured the image with promarkers and cut out with a Spellbinders die,striped paper and sentiment from Art by Marlene.
Previously unused lace for borders then made a strip into a lacy flower and added a pearl center.

The backing paper I stamped with more neglected stamps from Inkylicious and Altenew-If you would like just click on image and save.

Rosie Cupcake

Morning my DT post today is "For the Girls" challenge at Creative Craft Cottage and as we are sponsored by Digi Doodles I used the image Rosie Cupcake coloured with promarkers.
The stitched square dies are from The Works and the little gems from stash.
The background which was made last summer was made with Izink sprays on shaving cream-I also added DI through a couple of TH stencils.

Sunflowers and Stencils

Morning and I have two DT posts today-the second one is for the "Flowers" challenge at Craft Rocket.
The Sunflower stamp was from La Blanche coloured with promarkers and chalked sky.
I stencilled the background with DI inks an Artisan Design,a TH stencil and a craft mag freebie script stamp-a pretty quick and simple card.

A Rose By Any Other Name---

Morning and I have two DT posts today-the first one is for the "Use Dies" challenge at Daisy Chain.
I used a rose stamp from Honey Doo stamped twice and 3-D the flower part,stamped sentiment is from HOTH quite a few years old from the Dawn Bibby days at QVC,the border die is from Crafters Companion which I won a couple of years ago and the panel die was a TL craft mag freebie feom a few years ago too.

Flower Jar

Morning and I have two DT posts today the second one is for the Flower Power challenge at Unicorn.
I used the image Flower Jar from Mos Digital Pencil coloured with promarkers and glosssy accents on the jar.
Another neglected die cut background-(think it was a TL craft mag freebie but not sure as about 5years old)this was laid over a brayered background thecrinkled ribbon and button are also over 2yrs old stash so getting through it bit by bit-yay!!!

Little Easter Bunnies

Morning and I have two DT posts today -the first one is for the Embossing challenge at CCC Digi Creations and as we are sponsored by
The Paper Shelter we were given the image Little Easter Bunnies and I used the pre-coloured image and B,paper.
The B.card was embossed with A Crafters Companion basket-EF(neglected stash),then I decided to emboss the edges with EP and I found a pot at the back of the drawer with all oddments added together from a couple of years ago and used that not entirely successful but hey ho!

Spring Flowers and Bingo

Morning and I have two DT posts today the second one is for the "Bingo" challenge at Get Creative.

I used Black/Pearls/Buttons---Pearls/Shaped Card/P.paper---Buttons/Any Colour/Foil

I made a collar card P.paper/fabric flowers/buttons(in center of flowers)pearls from stash.

We are sponsored by Fred She Said and I used the images Spring Flowers coloured with promarkers.I added small pearls,fabric flowers,buttons ,Chocolate Baroque Bee and a loose splat stamp found in bottom of box-I also found a pkt of pink foil from goodness knows when so more forgotten stash.Images cut with a Sizzix Die.

Using Teabags

Morning and I have two DT posts today the first one is for the "Use a household item/product as an embellishment" challenge at A Place To Start-
paper clips/coffee filter/tissue paper flower/waxed paper or in my case used tea bags(which I saved last Summer and just found in the clearance lol)lol.

I stamped on the teabags with Beautanicals Teasel stamp(another neglected stamp) and also on the background,stamped sentiment was a craft mag freebie.

The background was made using a technique from Tracy Evans-you score the card every inch and use your bone folder then starting at the top drag a Distress ink pad in brown lightly down the card-turn around and do it the other way I also inked in green too -a perfect fence!!!

Colouring With Pencils

Morning and 1st March already can you believe it-I have three DT posts today and the third one is for the ATG/Colour With Pencils challenge at 613 Avenue Create---now anyone who knows me knows I am rubbish with pencils BUT I was quite happy with this result-so much so I coloured another image-to show for another day.
The stamped image is a wooden stamp Prom Queen from Stampotique(another neglected stamp)and coloured with pencils,doodled round the edges and stamped sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays.All the papers are oddments from stash.
