Beautiful Sunflowers

I found these sunflower images in bottom of a box that Gecko Galz were selling for Ukraine a couple of years ago and made a card using a tutorial a FB friend sent me, b,papers from stash.Card folds flat into a 6" envelope.

EDIT--- Spent all day yesterday at hospital with hubby-he had a small heart attack and they wanted him transferred to another hospital-he said no after two years of bad health plus Dementia and Altzhimers he refused and said he wanted to go home spend time with family and take his chances -so if I am slow responding to comments this is why-I still need to keep busy and sane so will maybe manic or slow!

Butterflies Galore

 Morning and I made a stepper birthday card just for something to do mainly to have a play with a set of butterfly stamps I bought of someone decluttering on FB.

I made a stepper card and used some oddments of p.paper from The Works,then stamped the butterflies onto the paper,and onto a seperate piece of card for a topper with a stamped sentiment from a craft mag freebie set quite a few years ago,the 3 large butterflies fussy cut and all the other butterflies are from a Docrafts set.All the butterflies are coloured with Faber Castell polychromos pencils.

Letters and Words

 It's the last Saturday of the month---ALREADY!!!---and time for the Smash Your Stash journal page challenge with my crafting friend Vicki. Hope you will check out her blog as she makes amazing journal pages.The challenge this month was "Letters" which I decided could be words-hope that's okay Vicki?

I found a page in my Pink Pig journal with a background already stamped over smooched colour,a flower and circle sentiment from AAll&Create,another sentiment stamp down the sides from Art Stamp,the words at the bottom from the Aldi mag,and the dictionary section was picked for the neighbour words on purpose!!!

Flowers Galore

 Had a quick(yer right) look round pinterest for some inspiration and found Kerry's Papercraft. Thought I had just the right papers to use Blossom Meadow from Craft and You and used a circle punch and circle dies from Creative Dies.The papers are double sided so used for backgrounds too,quite liked it so made two lol.

Message in a Bottle Bookmark

 Morning and time for the mid month inspiration for the ATG/Mood board option challenge at

 Stamping Sensations.

For something different I made a bookmark using a used Woodware stamp set bought from a FB selling page.I smooshed the cardstock with oxide inks-stamped the rolled up message then over stamped with the bottle adding glossy accents,stamped the verse above and the bubbles and shells randomly,coloured with promarkers.On the reverse I stamped the rolled up message three times, more bubbles and shells after smooshing the cardstock with more oxide inks,glossy accentss added to the bubbles,ribbon and twine from srash and slipped into a PVC bookmark sleeve which I bought a pack of last year and thought it was about time I used them so made another one too lol.

Another New Fold,New Stamps and Papers

 I made this actual Inside out Stepper Card a couple of weeks ago then mojo completely disappeared with how to decorate it! Then I bought a set of stamps from someone on a FB selling page,but no packaging so no idea whose they are-sorry.I stamped them out to see how they were found some Bee paper from The Paper Boutique and some new wood effect paper from Paper Favourites and finished it this after-noon,added colour with promarkers and the sentiments were cut from the edges of some P.papers from Craft and You.It looks complicated but is actually two stepper cards joined together and folds flat for posting.

GDT and Sunflowers Smiles

 Morning and can I just thank everyone for the lovely comments you leave on my blog posts and welcome to my new followers.

My post today is for a Guest Design spot at Star Stampz and the challenge is Favourite Colour Combination.As I no longer have a printer Helen kindly sent me the images Sunflower Smiles in two sizes so I made two cards.

The first one is a Diamond Point card using the image coloured with promarkers,and three  papers from Paper Favourites pad Bohemian Flowers.

The second card used the image coloured with promarkers,papers from Crafts and You Design Blossom Meadow and a Spellbinders doily die.

Picket Fence Card

 Morning and my second DT card for today is for the Dragonflies challenge-chosen by Caz at 

Dragonfly Dreams. I made a card to look like  a Lattice Split Front card and using some P. paper from The Works with Dragonflies on.The stamped sentiment is from AALL&Create,the die-cut flowers and leaves are from Sweet Dixie and card candy from stash.

Two Tier Treat Box

 Morning and today I am delighted to be GDT at Creative Creases.

I made a Two Tier Treat Box using oddments of P.paper from The Works and I die cut a flower from the paper using Spellbinders Clematis die, and Galaxy truffle chocs inside.My sister brought me a Bee notebook so she got the box in exchange lol.

July Card Swap Reveal

 Morning and my second post of the day is for the July Card Chain Swap Reveal and  32 cards were exchanged and my card went to Bonnie in the U.S.A. I went with the sketch option again and used my AALL&Create stamps and sentiment that I won last month at Allsorts.I used the larger stamp in the middle and a smaller one in the squares-coloured with promarkers and the P.paper was an oddment I found just the right size.Scalloped circle die from Creative Dies.Not happy with how I placed the sentiment!

Florana Eclipse

 Morning and I have two posts today,the first one is for the ATG challenge at The Crafty Addicts. I used the beautiful Florana stamp from Pip Art and had a play using the

 Eclipse technique with a new(to me) die which I bought off someone decluttering on a  FB selling page.Added touches of colour with a promarker and P,paper was from a Blooming Grunge pad by Crafts&You.Quite like how this turned out.The stamp is Florana from Pip Art coloured with promarkers.

Mini Teabag Holder

 Morning and I have two DT posts today the second one is for the Spots/Stripes challenge at

Pearly Sparkles and I made a mini teabag holder using scraps of papers from The Works and Graphic 45.Lace and card candy from stash(I found a tin with loads of them in)and made a little rosette for the top.It measures 3and a half inches(9cms) x 2 and a quarter inches(6cms)You could also omit cutting the small space and use as a gift/treat box.

Everyday is a New Beginning

 Morning and I have two DT cards today and the first one is a CAS card lol using a sketch from the Card Chain challenge,for the new "Polka Dots" challenge at Scrapping4fun.The stamped sentiment is from AALL&Create,I drew the lines with a fine liner and used stencils from Stencil Girl and Creative Expressions using Distress Ink.Black flat backed enamel dots from stash.
