Watercolours and painting

Morning everyone and hope you are all well,this is my second post today.Today the new challenge at Open-Minded Crafting Fun is "Labour day Celebrations" so we want to see job related or office supplies.Sponsors this week are Aurora Wings,Digital Delights,Faery Ink,Scrappers Delights and Sentimental Susan whose image "Painting" I used coloured with promarkers,I cut out the image and propped up on 3-D sticky squares,the background splats are from Visible image,cardstock from Papermill Direct,paint colour strips are from Tim Holtz and the watercoloured flower is pic of an actual watercolour by my son Matthew and resized to fit on my card.

New challenge Blog at Karleigh Sue

Karleigh Sue is a brand new monthly challenge blog with a talented Artist,and they are having a DT call.I have used her beautiful image "Sunday Afternoon" which you can buy from here.I coloured the image with promarkers and sat the image on a die cut frame which after I posted the pic thought it reminded me of the hanging chairs from the sixties-too late to make it look "hanging" lol,the beautiful watercolour look B.paper was a craft mag freebie,and i cut the butterfly out of the paper.

Tooth Fairy visited

First of all I would like to say welcome to my new followers,and nearly a week since I blogged,not a good week life and family wise,some bad news on the horizon I think.
On the plus side had a good girly day in town with my grandaughters (soo hoping it's not the last one.)Ellie(7) and Holly-Ann(5)we went shopping then for something to eat then jewellry shopping-at Primark -a bag each which Ellie left on the bus!I put my foot down on Holly going in a nail bar to have her nails done!Ellie has just lost her third tooth and I made her a Paper pretties Tooth Fairy card and decorated the inside with a pocket and mini envelope to put her tooth in -and forgot to take a pic of inside!I coloured the image with promarkers,cardstock from Papermill Direct,B.paper/ribbon and dewdrops from stash,sentiment was computer generated.

Doodle Flowers

Morning everyone from a very cold and wet Hull-we even had the heating on the last two nights-unheard of ask the family the heating does not go on until Winter-end of!!!We have a new ATG challenge at Crafty Girls and the sponsors are-Di's Digi Downloads and Dilly Beans whose image I used Doodle Flowers",coloured with promarkers,liquid pearls and dies from stash.I printed the image twice and decoupaged the flowers,cardstock from Papermill Direct,Bonnets and Bowties paper from Nitwits.

Bonkers

Bonkers is the name of the great image I have used from Angie's Digi Stamps as soon as I saw this image I wanted to use it lol.The challenge is "Up,up and Away" this week at Artistic Inspirations.I coloured the Bonkers image with promarkers and added glossy accents,the B.paper is K&C,I cut the take off and rocket out of B.paper,cardstock from Papermill Direct.

Decorated pen holder

Hope you are all well today-my project today was a request from my DIL Diane as she has just moved into a new office and needed a new pen/pencil and oddments holder lol.It was a short notice request so I actually bought a blank holder and after using black acrylic paint on the edges and inside,decorated it using Papermania Parisienne Blue papers,TH flower die,lace,ribbon,buttons and pearls from stash.

Mini Tornado in Hull !

Morning everyone and welcome to my new follower ZOE,thank you hope you like what you see and stay.On Sunday we had a mini tornado in Hull amd we were in it's path.It was dead calm with not a breath then without warning with a sound like a steam train the wind came whirling everything round,slamming windows shut at one side and blowing them open at the other,loads of tile off and tall ariels down the street,the garden was flattened,but luckily that was all for us.We must have got the edge because close to us there was trees uprooted and someones trampoline went over the roof and landed in the road,the poor cats were terrified and as we were looking after the grandaughters for the day Ellie was crying but Holly was looking out the window-saying that is terrible,listen for the sirens bet there's loads of people dead! she is such a cheerful child-we even made the Sky and BBC news,if that was the edge of one I would not like to be in a full blown one!
My card today is another criss cross card,a wedding one,papers are Harmony from 7 Gypsies and Classic Elegance from Melissa Frances,wooden heart,ribbon and die-cut flower from stash.Yesterday I never stopped but seemed to get nowhere so will catch up with all your blogs today.

Pretty in Pink

My card today was requested for a friend who has just had twin girls soo pretty in pink.I used a LOTV stamp I have had for a long time,papers/dies/ribbon/liquid pearls/buttons/brads from stash cardstock from Papermill Direct.Keeping it short and sweet as almost threw laptop out of the window trying to blog this post!!!
