Morning and we have a new challenge at Create and Inspire we are sponsored by Ikes Art and I used the image "London"(ironic really as never been to London)coloured with promarkers and added glossy accents,cardstock from Papermill Direct,papers from stash and Man About Town CD,Marianne clock die.been last minute the last week with all my cards as takes me ages to find stuff now everything moved-I knew where everything was in my organised chaos but now aaaarrrggg-going to see my son tomorrow was supposed to go into hospital yesterday but no beds!!!and have had grandaughter Ellie off school today with a 24 hour bug which Holly had on Saturday and doesn't think it fair Ellie had a day off school and she was ill on the weekend lol absolute chaos here at the moment to top it all I fell backwards seeing to Holly and cracked back of head on wall -right tomorrow is another day and roll on next year.

Mels Crow

Morning and we have a new mixed media challenge today at A Inky Mess -we are sponsored by Sheepski Designs and I used the image "Mels Crow" coloured with promarkers,not impressed with colouring as all my promarkers are running out!!!I covered a large jigsaw piece(saved from when grandaughters were little) with Decoart media acrylic paint with black on small lid and card edge,then faux stitch round edges,sentiment computer generated in Dafont.My son and his partner are moving back here to save money for a deposit-so will have grandchildren more -sooo losing craft room all crammed into bedroom at moment and eldest son seriously ill at moment I was there last night-so please bear with me if I am slow commenting on you blogs,but I really appreciate your comments and will be round when I have a few mins spare.

Art On The Brain

Morning and back with my second DT post today which is for ATG challenge at Crafty Girlz sponsored by Rick St Dennis and I used the great image "Art On The Brain" coloured with promarkers,cardstock from Papermill Direct,papers from DoCrafts Papermania Madame Payraud's had them a good couple of years,spellbinder die-cut frame then I cut round cardstock with fancy cut scissors,edges are distressed with TH distress inks.Tassel from stash.Just been for my yearly stroke check up and bloods taken-got weighed and have lost half a stone after completely giving up bread woo hoo and still having my chocolate with my coffee.

Chipboard heart and Buttons

My post today is a finished chipboard heart started weeks ago-I covered the heart in panpastels then lost inspiration-but then I bought a glue gun and with inspiration from Lesley Wharton(Chocolate Baroque) I used quite a few from my large stash of buttons,dewdrops and a little metal Dragonfly all stuck down with the glue gun.I then covered everything in black gesso,added a black bow and a white embossed stamped sentiment from Sheena Douglas,I then highlighted it with mica pwd,posted it to FB and Teresa suggested I use gilding wax instead,it would have been rude to ignore so I bought some lol Cosmic Shimmer Gold Treasure-it came today and what a good buy it really did make a difference -thank you Teresa-really chuffed and you can actually see the Dragonfly now too.

Mini Canvas

A late post today but I have two mini canvas -the first one has a background of Brushos,a wooden heart and a button and ta da da da my first use of my new glue gun drizzled round the heart lol --the second one I covered with Aztec Mettalic copper paint,gold heat embossed edges,stamped and gold heat embossed heart onto a white plastic coated heart,I stamped onto a little wooden heart and added a small -string of pearls -the canvas are ATC size.Everything is stuck down with the glue gun lol.

You Rock in Silver

Morning and we have a new "all That Glitters" challenge at The Daisy Chain-I posted the same card yesterday embossed in gold and when my SIL saw it asked if I would make her one for her 16yr grandson-so I made one with images from Inkadinkado and Kanban heat embossed in silver,the B.paper is from BoBunny and I stamped the Kanban music score on it,stars are a craft mag freebie die and cardstock from Papermill Direct-the sentiment was computer generated in Dafont.

Birthday Card With Braille

Morning and back with my second post today which is for the Just For Fun challenge at Simply Papercrafts.I was asked to make a bithday card with 3-D layering,texture and music as the boy is blind but loves music.I heat embossed the music images which are from Inkadinkado to raise the edges,metal music note charm,some die-cut embossed stars for more texture,B.paper from BoBunny and I stamped and heat embossed more music images from Kanban,I then had the brilliant idea of printing off the Braille alphabet and wrote his name in Braille using liquid pearls for the dots,cardstock from Papermill Direct ans raised everything on 3-D foam for touch.I was absolutely delighted to learn the card went down a storm especially his name and the fact that shop bought cards are usually flat and smooth-so a missed niche in the market there I think.

Two Birthday Cards Today

Morning and we have a Just for Fun challenge today at Create And Inspire and I am posting two requested birthday cards-the first one was for my daughters ex husband(still friends) to give to his Dad -loves Frank Sinatra so I googled a couple of images,used my precious TH papers and freebie star and corner dies,cardstock from Papermill Direct.

The second one was for a 60th birthday-requested bag and shoes-the shoes are a Tattered Lace die,the chipboard bag I covered in embossed card and added buttons from stash,peel offs round the edge of rose paper,seam binding,paper and pearls from stash,sentiment was computer generated in Dafont and cardstock from Papermill Direct.

Dreams Canvas

Morning again and back with my 3rd and last DT post today which is a small canvas for Love To Craft-now this little canvas(ATC size) came about by pure chance lol.The background is my Decoart paints,black stripes with acrylic and edge of card,frantage fragments,the eyes are a Craft Mag freebie,tulle and other bits were on desk as offcuts from other projects,all put onto 3-D foam.
