Ace Card

 Morning I have made a card using Ace Card  from Chocolate Baroque that I won last month,I water- coloured the image with paints from Art By Marlene.

The first P.paper was from stash and the back background was a stencilled background that I ruined in the middle so was in oddment pile all matted and layered onto black cardstock.

Butterfly Mini Miura Card

 Not entered the Butterfly Spot challenge for a while so when I saw the latest challenge thought I would have a go looks simple enough---yer right.

I cut one card out but it didn't fold properly and the edges didn't meet -checked measurements-all right-so  before I messaged Valery to check measurements I made one out of copy paper worked perfectly first time??? So made another one with card-perfect so no idea what I did with the first one.

I gold embossed a Chocolate Baroque Butterfly for the belly band,and white embossed a Chrysanthemum from Pink Frog,gold embossed sentiment was a craft mag freebie.Mwtal flower brad and all oddments of p.paper from stash.

Bee Tag

 I have a card to make for eldest sons birthday,admittedly not until next month but for the last week I have had the card fold,stamps even ink pads on my desk and I know what design I want just no inclination-how pathetic does that sound lol.

So to try and get inspired I made a tag not turned out how it was in my mind but there you go at least it was finished!

I inked up the tag and stamped a couple of Bees-the corrugated card/honeycomb piece and zigzag piece are all pieces of packaging,the flower box was cut from an oddment -the little wooden Ladybird and ribbon was from stash and the Bees are Chocolate Baroque stamped onto painted card leftovers with glossy accents on wings.

NOW we come to the splatters---which were made with Cosmic Shimmer Iridescent Watercolour New Gold- a few went on the tag BUT my desk and glasses look perfect lol !!!

Two Birthdays Today

 Our youngest Grandson is 5yrs old today -Happy birthday Noah(and I forgot to take a pic of his mincraft card I made for him tut tut!!!

 

Holly our youngest Grandaughter is 12yrs old today -Happy birthday Holly-she loves Harry Potter or should I say Ron Weasley lol.

Slimline and Recycling

 A late post for two reasons we has a bit of a situation needing a plumber! I was stood at the sink running the tap and wondering why the water was splashing my feet(good job I wear flip flops) the waste pipe under the sink had corroded and come away and the water was just running into the cupboard below -anyway all fixed now!!!

The second reason was I have found a new challenge blog-well new to me- Daring Cardmakers -and the challenge finishes soon so couldn't wait until tomorrow.

Another challenge asked for a slimline card which fitted my stamp nicely so had a play.

I stamped the thistle feom AALL and Create onto a book page,inked the edges,matted onto black card for strength and glued onto coruggated card packaging with 3-D foam pads.

I had stamped text on the coruggated card,text onto actual card with distress ink and distress ink through a Creative Expressions stencil-the little heart is from Stampin Up and I drew round the word love with a fineliner pen.

In The Garden

 Morning and we have a new ATG/In The Garden challenge today at 613 Avenue Create and I made another Mini album/trifold card,now the last one took a day this one slightly a lot longer maybe a week? kept changing my mind lol.

The butterflies on the front  was from a  craft mag freebie set and stamped onto leftover oddments of smooshed paper then fusst cut-the little wooden Bees and Ladybirds were from Amazon.

P.papers from stash and so was ribbon-couldn't decide whether to use white or pale green so used both!

The stamps were a mixture of Chocolate Baroque,Pink Frog and AALL and Create coloured with promarkers and added glossy accents.

Border stamp from Crafters Companion-leaf dies from The Works and I paper pieced the little snails with snippets of stamped paper.Background stencil from That's Crafty.

Flowers and Ladybirds

 Morning and my card today used the Chrysanthemum set of stamps from Pink Frog and I just coloured the main flower,leaves and ladybirds with promarkers-not totally happy with the result though!-leaves to symetrical and only four?Dies from Creative Dies.
