 Morning and as it's the last Saturday on the month time for the last one of the year  Smash Your Stash Journal page challenge with my talented blogging friend Vicki from Stamped Smiles. The challenge this month is---Take a previous prompt and re-create something new so I revisited last months -Stencils challenge and used three different stencil and oxide inks and just had a play.The Dragonfly stamp was a craft mag freebie years ago and I just doodled round the edges. I also have another negative background from cleaning the stencils too.This is my last post for this year so would like to wishing you all the best for a Happy New Year and thank you for all the comments you have left on my blog throughout the year.

Beautiful Iris

 Morning and I bought an AALL&Create Iris stamp that someone was selling on a FB decluttering page and couldn't wait to use it. I stamped it onto a smooshed background I found,then coloured it with promarkers,doodled round the borders and added a number strip from inside a kitchen roll.The strips of p.paper were cut from the front of a Paper Favourites pad and images were cut from same paper.The sentiment was also cut from a paper pad.I love iris flowers and had a lovely pale blue which has diappeared last couple of years but have a healthy patch of white ones which are absolutely years old.

Happy Birthday

 Morning and time for the midmonth inspiration for the ATG/Fave Colours challenge at Stamping Sensations.I made this card for our SIL who was 87yrs yesterday.The stamped image is from AALL&Create and coloured with promarkers,tbh not sure if I have this stamp the right way up? Gingham paper from Paper Boutique and liquid pearls in the corners.The dies were bought of somoeone decluttering on FB.

Last Christmas Card

 I have my last Christmas card to blog.Taking inspiration from Pinky I made a wreath using small stamps from Stampin Up and Pink Frog.Quite pleased how it turned out even if circle a little skewiff lol.Robin stamps from AALL&Create coloured with promarkers and pencils on the smaller one.The Merry Christmas die was gifted with a fabulous Christmas card and stencil-thank you so much Vicki.The sentiment looks black but is in fact green cardstock,the green border was made with a promarker and ruler.

Football Treat Boxes

 Morning and we have a new ATG challenge at The Crafty Addicts.

I made two little boxes for Grandsons(8and10) using a tutorial from Pinky.They both belong to football teams and are doing brilliantly.

Peeling Paint paper pad from Polka Doodles,rosette made with p,paper from The Works,card candy/scrabble tiles and boot charm from stash.The football and trophy cup die I bought of someone on a FB decluttering page-so no packaging.They both hold two small pkts of Haribo.

 

Well the sun is out and it's our 54th Wedding Anniversary today ---and still no medal! lol x

Winter Wonderland

 Morning and I have two DT posts today, the first one is for the ATG/Favourite Colours challenge at Stamping Sensations and we are sponsored by Highlight Crafts. Four stamp sets with Two winners receiving two stamp sets.

 

 I stamped and embossed the Studio Light stamp and sentiment set I won at Allsorts in Oct,I stamped over a stencilled background but the image didn't really show so I lightly went over the design with distress ink and it showed up more.

Pink Baubles and Cats

 Morning and 1st of December can you believe-my DT post today is for the

"Non-Traditional Christmas Colours" challenge at Scrapping4fun, and this was another card using a technique from Tracy Evans. I die-cut a circle out of cardstock and used it like a stencil with distress inks.All stamps are from Pink Frog and Stampin up, Die-cut cats were from a set I bought on a FB decluttering page so no idea of the make-sorry.

Mini Milk Carton Treat Boxes

 Morning today I have a Guest Designer Spot at Creative Creases and I made these little mini milk carton treat holders.-Sorry the tutorial is no longer available but there are similar ones on Pinterest.

  I have made the full size version a few years ago.

P.paper from The Works and I fussy cut a couple of Iris flowers for the front and little paper clips from my stash.The holder stands 4"x3" and the little cartons are 2and a half inches x 1 and a half inches.

A Little Robin

 Morning and I have two DT posts today-the first one is for the Christmas challenge at 

Stamping Sensation, and we have two prizes from Penny Black.

The background was made with distress ink on a stamp block and spritzed with water, the stamps are all from AALL&Create and coloured with promarkers. The circles were stamped again onto white card,cut in half and paper pieced, doodled in the corner and B,paper from Paper Favourites.

Card Chain Swap Reveal

 Morning and time for the Card Chain Swap reveal,34 cards were exchanged.

I went with the sketch again using P.papers from 13@rts,button from stash and flower cut with a Woodware Craft punch and found in oddments box.

Napkin/Serviette Card

 Morning and first of the month I have four DT posts today-the second one is for the Christmas/Winter challenge at Pearly Sparkles.

This is my first time using a napkin/serviette, I used pva glue to adhere the napkin to cardstock -not perfect but liked the textured result, added glossy accents and glamour dust.

Smash Your Stash

I had a panel made with distress inks and different texture stamps and the edge of a plastic card, I was going to add the holes and add it to a smaller journal  but was have neede to cut quite a bit off-so decided to add it to my junk journaland paint the packground with Cosmic Shimmer Precious Metal watercolour paints.My junk journal is now 4inches thick and still not full!

Take Me to the Ocean

 Morning and I have finally made a tag for Tag Tuesday! The smooshed background was aleady made I just cut into a tag size and used an offcut for the little tag.

I used a Woodware stamp set bought from someone on FB decluttering,I stamped the boat inside the bottle and added glossy accents,the two sentiments from the set were stamped onto little tags and I added the bubbles round the borders,string from hubbys shed lol.

Notepad Cover

Morning and a new "No Cards"challenge  blog "Unique Art Expressions"is into its third challenge which is "Fruit", now the only fruit stamps I have are the slices of lemon on a Visible Image stamp set so hope these are okay.Sorting through my oddments box I found a looks like a smooshed background with the right colour so stamped the glass,sentimen and two slices of lemon,the stamped two more on the offcut,added colour with a promarker and added glossy accents.I also found three small notepads I bought must be three yearts ago and decided to cover one which was the reason I originally bought them-still better late than never.

 Morning and time for the mid month inspiration post for the ATG/Autumn Colours challenge at

 Stamping Sensations and yes another Christmas card!

We will be announcing some challenge changes, so please make a note to check our new challenge post on 5th November.

I used three stamps from a Pink Frog stamp set,coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.I stamped onto a background I made with three oxide colours on a stamping block and sprayed with water-made about six so more to come lol.Distress ink round the edges and matted onto kraft.The Robin circle sentiment is a stamp from an AALL&Create stamp set.I used inspiration from here for the background.

Just to let everyone know who asked about John -he has had a check up at Castle Hill hosp they have changed his meds and another one soon for another heart scan, also been referred back to memory clinic to check on his Dementia meds-he says he feels okay but at the moment having more bad days then good  :(  x x
