Art Journal Saturday

 Morning and last Saturday of the month and I am joing with my blogging friend Vicki making a journal page to inspire each other and use some of our stash,hope you will check out her page too.

Vicki has made a list of prompts and this month it's Smash Your Stash with-die-cuts/punched out pieces/tags.I have quite a few started but not finished journal pages and found one in my Pink Pig journal.I only have a small circle punch and not many dies after a serious declutter last year but here goes

The background is smooshed ink left on desktop from other projects,texture paste through a stencil and ink through a foliage stencil.script stamp from Carabelle,tag,small kraft tag,hessian strip,butterfly,piece of postage stamp(?) and buckle die(Memory Box) are all from oddment box so a few more things used lol,the black strip at the top was the negative part from a punched border-knew it would come in handy lol.

More Sunflowers

 Morning and I have a card for  a GDT spot at Allsorts -the challenge is "In The Garden" and I have  made a centre step card using 4  more of the beautiful Sunflowers For Ukraine from Gecko Gals with all proceeds going to the charity.

The die-cut border was a TL craft mag freebie and the little wooden Ladybirds and Bee from stash.

Envelope Journal

 Morning-now last week due to lack of mojo and inclination I was deleting saved bookmarks and came across a tutorial for a quick and easy envelope journal.

I didn't have the right sized envelopes so cut some down,glued everything together then lost interest.

Due to boredom finally finished it -papers were years old and no idea whose sorry everything else was from an oddments drawer.

The papers are darker and more vintage looking but the light is terrible!

More Sunflowers

 Morning and I have made another tri-fold card using the Sunflowers for Ukraine images available from Gecko Gals.

The P.papers were oddments from stash,lace from stash,Hero Arts die-cut Bee,craft mag freebie TL die-cut border.

Matted all the images onto black cardstock,three in the inside pockets,and four more of these beautiful images onto the front and back.

Sunflowers for Ukraine

 I left a comment on a blog this morning Chasing White Unicorns and she had posted about Gecko Galz selling some Sunflowers for Ukraine  images for a Samaritans Purse charity which I then purchased.

I was making a center fold card but whilst looking for papers found this wooden hanging at the bottom of the drawer-covered in distress ink and splashed with water,matted some of the images onto black and added some on 3-D foam and some little Hero Arts die-cut Bees.

Craft Items Swap

 Morning and welcome to my latest follower Mac Mable -I entered a swap challenge on a FB page which entailed mailing your partner 10 craft items-you then made one or more projects using all the items and anything you wanted to add plus each item had to have a stamped image,then you had to post back to who sent you the items.

I was sent the  purple P.paper ,tassel,ribbon,Metal J brad,green heart,2cat/2Dragonfly/flower stickers,yellow peg.

I made a pocket card with two stamped inserts I thought she could use as toppers,the stamped flower was from Pink Frog,peel offs/butterflies were from my stash. I also made 2 ATCs using the stickers and Chocolate Baroque stamps onto 2 already made backgrounds,I also sent her the stamps I used inside on the toppers.

I sent my partner these---

Let Your Imagination Fly

 Morning and 1st March can you believe-my post today is for the "One for the Girls" challenge at

 Pearly Sparkles which I have rejoined-thank you Lisa for having me back-I left all my DTs for more me time and ended up going stir crazy!!!
