Selfie With Santa

Rose The Hippy

Morning and hope everyone is well-we are starting a new challenge at A Inky Mess sponsored by Scrap N'Dipity,I used the beautiful image Rose The Hippy coloured with promarkers and resized to fit on a 4" square Fat Page.I added frantage on the peace sign because I dropped a baby wipe which I had just cleaned the embossing folder with and as image was already cut out and coloured decided to cover!The background was made by stamping with an embossing folder and the strip across the same both folders were craft mag freebies,a piece of corrugated packing over the top,lace under middle strip and liquid pearls from stash.Creative Die-cut circle was made with silver and gold Aztec metallic paint brushed onto black card and everything was put on with silicone for depth.

June Wedding

Morning and hope you are all well-we have a new Just For Fun challenge at Crafting With Friends,I made a wedding card which was for my DILs Uncle who was getting remarried.I used an image from ADFD coloured with promarkers,the embossed backing card was an EF from Crafters Companion,B.paper from 7Gypsies,die-cut heart from The Works,frame from Spellbinders,sml wooden heart/sml white heart which I stamped on/ribbon/pearls from stash and handmade flowers made with dies.

Decorated Canvas for GDT

Morning-I was a spotlight winner at Crafting By Designs in May so was delighted to be invited to be a Guest Designer for the "Animals"challenge.I decorated a 7x5inch canvas covered with distress inks,stamped with several stamps/craft mag freebies and Crafters Companion in distress ink and also inked through a stencil,I added texture paste(diy filler from the £1 shop)die-cut clock from Marianne and the White Rabbit and large clock images are on a paper napkin added with pva,the sentiment -put on silicone for dimension-was from an A4 page of sentiments and mens images I won from Whimsy Stamps-I then added Cosmic Shimmer gilding polish round edges,paste and clock.

A Happy Accident-Just Imagine!

I actually have a CAS card to share today -it started off with paint on a stencil instead of cleaning it pressed it onto card then stencilled Distressed Dots from Creative Expressions,then I was going to cut a die-cut from the center then inlay the die--BUT--because I didn't tape the die it slipped and so having watched Let Leonie Loose last week and seeing her recover from a happy accident I then cut all the odd bits off and left the aperture,layering onto blue paper then black cardstock,then stamped imagine from Crafters Companion-quite pleased with result lol.

Arabian Nights Delight

Heart and Feather Tag

Morning and would like to welcome my latest follower Tracy-hope you have the time to check out her fabulous blog.I have four DT posts today and the last one is for the midway inspiration at Love To Craft ATG challenge,I made a tag brayering a background with Decoart acrylic paints,added texture with paste through a stencil-I usually make my own texture paste but have just bought a large pot of DIY filler from the £1 shop which is brilliant,the stencil is Distressed Dots from Creative Expressions,the stamped music score is Kanban and the textured stamps are from Crafters Companion,Cosmic Shimmer gilding polish round the edges,fabric heart/wool from stash I then die-cut a feather,painted with distress ink and dabbed with distress stains,chilli powder for texture,embossing powders and topped with gilding polish.

Deacon Bugs

Giraffe and Pebbles

Morning and I have a whopping four DT posts today-the second one is for the Masculine challenge at Crafty Girlz,I used the Giraffe image from Toadstool printables,coloured with promarkers,coloured cardstock from Papermill Direct and wooden beads from stash.The background I made using the stamping with an embossing folder technique where you ink the embossing folder a first for me but will definitely use again,the embossing folder is pebbles from Crafters Companion.

Round and Round the Garden With Barclay Bear

Morning and I have a whopping four DT projects to share today-the first one is for CCC Digi Creations "Inspired by a Song/Nursery Rhyme" sponsored by Pink Gem.My inspiration was "Round and round the garden like a teddy bear nursery rhyme" which I say to my littlest grandson-so I chose the image Barclay Bear with Flower and as I am rubbish at colouring fur I used the pre-coloured image.Coloured cardstock from Papermill Direct,and papers were all oddments from stash.

Postcard Swap

Morning and would like to welcome my latest follower Tracy-hope you can find the time to check out her beautiful cards.I have made a postcard for a swap on FB-I painted Aztec metallic silver paint onto black cardstock,then stamped arrow and Bee in black,stamped and heat embossed in silver the craft maf freebie star,I then heat embossed in gold the textured stamp from Crafters Companionand because I was impatient half of the word inspire embossed too but quite liked the result-a happy accident lol,the price tags where cut from TH papers/small pices of silver metal and Cosmic Shimmer gilding polish round the edges,I then had to mat and layer onto black card then silver to make the size up as it has to be 6"x4".

Twins-Twice as Nice

Scrapbook Page or Card???

Morning and I am back with my third and last DT post for today which is "Use a Doily" challenge at Get Creative sponsored by Shadow Clocksy,Dr Digi and Aliciabel. I used the image Ruffled Multi-Tiered Ballgown,coloured with promarkers.I made a scrapbook page which could be made into a card,the B.paper and cut out elements are from Craftwork Cards,the little doilies were cut from stash paper also buttons/hessian and tulle,metal scissors from The Works,the doily die-cut from Sizzix everything was put on 3-D foam for dimension.

Butterflies ATC Set

Morning and this is my second of three DT posts today -we have an ATG challenge at Crafting From The Heart and we are sponsored by Scrap'n'Dipity.Using my own stamps I made an ATC set-I put some Decoart acrylics onto craft mat,added water and smooshed cardstock through,I then cut into ATC size and stamped butterfly stamp from Indigo Blu onto offcuts,cut out and glued on ATC with wings loose,the small butterfly stamp is from Sheena Douglass,I then stamped round the edges with a Crafters Companion texture stamp.

Agapanthus and Daisies

Morning and I have three DT posts today the first one is for the Monochrome challenge at Daisy Chain,I made a postcard 6"x4"which I also entered into a postcard swap on FB.The background flowers are from Polka Doodles,then inked Stampendous Agapanthus Cluster stamp with distress ink,sprayed with water before stamping onto watercolour paper I then distress inked all the edges.

Box of Bears

Morning and hope you are all well-we have a new challenge at 613 Avenue Create which is ATG/Stamping with an Embossing Folder chosen by Natalie.I have had the idea of a box of bears in my mind for a while and decided time to make one.I usually make my own box cards but have bought some die-cut ones from Craftwork Cards,cardstock from Papermill Direct,the embossing folder is Leaf Vein from Crafters Companion and distress inks,the honeycomb stamp is from Chocolate Baroque,and the assorted Bears are from two unamed stamp sets,I used glossy accents on the honey pots and glamour dust on the Bees wings,the Pine Bough die is from Die-namites.Clothes on Bears and Bees coloured with promarkers.
