Floral Grunge

oops late again!!! but I have a good reason our old rabbit Nibbles died during the night after a short illness and as grandaughters were here we had a graveside ceremony complete with flowers,choc biscuits(nibbles favourite) and wine(well perry and shandy for Hollie lol )

I have also been in agony with my back for the past three days and just starting to ease off thankfully-for the first time in my life I have cricked my back and doing what??? helping my grandaughter do a jigsaw yes I can hear you laughing in disbelief-I would too but stupidly was knelt on the floor with her and leaning at an angle with the resulting pain---a jigsaw no word of warning on the box either lol.

 

Anyways I made an anniversary card for my Sister using the beautiful stamp Floral Grunge from Chocolate Baroque I stamped in Distress ink and lightly spread colour with water then overstamped in black,used same colour in a stencil from Artisan Design and the little Ladybird stamp (coloured with promarkers)was from a set from Pink Frog. Three little purple gems from stash.

Crazy Best Friends

 Morning  errr after-noon lol and I made another diamond point card which was requested by a neighbour for her best friend-the sentiment was added inside.

The image was from Bugaboo which sadly is now closed-coloured with promarkers-the little header above the image was an unwanted  google printed off by son so I saved it from the bin lol.

The P.paper was on old one from stash-originally from K&Co at QVC during the Dawn Bibby days.

ooops posted pic and realised I had left the pearls uncoloured---too late!!!

4-Sided Pinwheel Tower

 Morning and this is the card I made in June and said I would post Monday but felt tired and a bit down so nothing happened lol anyway here it is.

I made a 4-sided pinwheel tower I first saw on Pinkys blog and liked the idea and best of all it folds flat for posting.Found the tutorial HERE.

Narrow strips of P.paper from stash,the larger pieces were made with white cardstock and smooshed distress inks-stencils and background stamps from Chocolate Baroque and some unpackaged loose stamps and stencil

Leaves cut with dies from The Works and main stamps from AALL&Create all stamped onto cardstock then stamped again coloured with promarkers fussy cut and stuck onto the card pieces.

Toadstool from a Rubber Dance set and snails from same AALL& Create set as the veg were stamped onto book pages and cut out -doodled round all the edges but no sentiment until I decide where it is going.

Card also folds flat for posting.

Video Boy

 Well at last I have a card to show BUT---my mojo has been on a break and this card has taken me three weeks to put together even though I had the image printed out!!!Three weeks notice and was wanted for today so ended up colouring the image Video Boy from Mos Digital Pencil with promarkers and finishing the card this morning not happy but it is what it is!

He is 9yrs old and plays Fortnite so found a small image on Google to add,three pop cans stamped and die-cut from a craft mag freebie set-added a can ring pull on 3-D foam and a peel off number-P.paper from stash- K&Co from QVC days with Dawn Bibby.

Uploading this pic and have found a card a I made a couple of months ago so something  else to share tomorrow.

New Craft Room -Room Mates

I have had 4 aviaries in the past breeding budgies-canaries and finches-but most of all missed the little Zebra Finches---SO---

Daisies and Bees

 Morning and I have been having a play with the Daisies and Bees dies from Hero Arts and made a slimline card.

The B,paper was from The Works and from the scrap deawer just had to trim half inch off to make it fit perfectly.

I coloured the Daisies and Bees with promarkers and forgot to put the glossy accents on the wings!!!

The coloured pieces were all ready smooshed die cut pieces from scrap drawer too-so all in all a pretty quick card -I also layered some of the flowers.

Lots of stamps and Inks

 Morning and we have a new challenge at 613 Avenue Create ATG/Flavours of Fall and I used colour palette No1.

I had to make a last minute card for a neighbours son who was 15yrs old.

Luckily I had two backgrounds already made and just had to add the die cut letters and a can ring pull.

The backgrounds were made with a selection of oxide inks and stamps which although recently used cannot find the packaging???Also used a Stencil Girl stencil.

 Background I made feel free to click and save if you like it.
