Smash Your Stash Journal Challenge

 Morning(only just) and last Saurday of the month so time for the Smash Your Stash journal page challenge with my blogging friend Vicki of Stamped Smiles,hope you check out her amazing blog.

This month the prompt was distress/rough up/sand/rip- well this month I managed them all!!!

I started with ripped up book pages edged with distress inks,then a torn piece of coruggated gate with added distress inks. Looking through my bit box a found the old piece of embossed cardstock(bought embossed) which i roughrd up with an emery board and added some gilding wax(a bit of a mess as had dried out so sprayed with water to get some out,I also found a stamped and cut out Dragonfly from Stamping art and just glued the body down leaving the wings free,this had been stamped onto a piece of the boiled papers I made a few years ago, script stamping with a craft mag freebie stamp(again years old) and a strip of numbers from the inside of a kitchen roll inner.

May the Butterfly Of Life Settle on Your Shoulders.

 Morning my card today was inspired by the sketch at Try a Sketch On Tuesday as I had the perfect stamp set which I bought last year of a decluttering page on FB and no packaging.The images are coloured with markers,Bee p.paperfrpm Paper Boutique and stamped sentiment from Chocolate Baroque.

Perfume and Flowers.

 Morning and it's time for the mid month inspiration post for Stamping Sensations. The challenge is ATG or like the DT you can choose  the mood board and this month we are sponsored by Lavinia Stamps.

I chose the flowers,colours and butterfly from the mood board and made a gatefold card(well tbh I found the card already made in a drawer lol) just covered it with p.paper from 13Arts and used an ALL&Create image coloured with markers and added glossy accents on the perfume bottle,the frames are Crafters Companion dies.

Masculine Card

 Morning and I have a birthday card made for our BIL.I have had the D,paper from CraftO'Clock glued onto the black cardstock then onto a 7"x5" white card for a few weeks but not happy with the effect,so trimmed it down to the D,paper,backed onto a larger piece of black cardstock then onto a larger size white card 6" x 8 and a half inches-looks a lot better!Found a little bag of the die-cut Tim Holtz figures at the bottom of a small box of die-cuts found whilst decluttering.Now I have never owned this die so someone must have sent me them in a swap years ago and no idea who or when! Anyway instead of using the black figure as a dropped shadow,the white was too stark,so used the white behind as a light effect,then I gold embossed the figure to match the paper-with an Art  script stamp from Carabelle.Then used a Tonic die for the sentiment using the same layers-happy with this one! Then son came in and said it looked more like a sympathy card!!!

Card Chain Swap

 Morning and I have three posts today the third  and last one is for the Card Chain Swap Reveal and 31 cards were exchanged,my card went to Patricia and in the USA.I went with the themes stencil and scoring.The stamp and sentiment are from AALL&Create I stamped the leaf and flower heads again coloured with promarkers and paper pieced.Stencils from  (will have to update later as cat is asleep on my stamps and stencils box lol.-Stencil Girl and  Creative Expressions and one I cannot remember,border stamp from Crafters Companion.

I scored the edges with a Crafts Beautiful scoreboard which was a craft mag freebie years ago.

Simple Shaped Card

 Morning and I have three posts today -the second one is for the Tag You're It/ Shaped card chosen by Francesca for Dragonfly Dreams.

No surprise I made a simple shaped card using flower paper from 13Arts and the black and white self- adhesive papers I received in a card swap.The stamped Bee is Chocolate Baroque and stamped onto a p,paper oddment.One of the corners I cut off I made into a pocket inside and added three die-cut tags(bought from a FB decluttering page) with a StampinUp birthday stamp,brad from stash.

Beautiful Iris

 Morning and I have three posts today-two DT cards and a Card Swap.The first one is for the Mood Board/ATG challenge at Stamping Sensations and we are have Two great prizes from Lavinia.

Another New Fold
