Beer,Wine and Happy Mail

 Morning and I have a birthday card made for BIL to give to their son-have made a couple for him before so had to rely on gim liking a drink although I think beer is his preference lol.He has also learnt Japanese and goes there about three times a year and luckily I had kept some Japanese newspaper which was packaging a few years ago-knew it would come in handy lol.

I made a pop-op box card wood grain paper from The Works, and all stamps (coloured with promarkers)were from a Stamp and die-cut craft mag freebie set last year.

Butterfly Flag Card

 I made a Flag card for the challenge at Butterfly Spot and for  a neighbours birthday who loves butterflies.

The P,paper I have had for absolute ever! 

The butterfly flourish die is from Joanna Sheen a long neglected die and the butterfly die for the inside was a craft mag freebie.Lac from stash-think I won that about three years ago.

Butterfly flouris and one of the inside butterflies were cut from some leftover smooshed card and the the other from a scrap of blue cardstock-stamped sentiment was also a craft mag freebie.

More Christmas

 We had grandaughters to sleep over two nights before lockdown and Ellie requested some Christmas cards for her best friends for---"tomorrow" in case the school closes too!

She chose the two images she wanted Winter Snow Muff Girl from Lemon Shortbread and Winter from Morgans Artworld but couldn't find the image in store so maybe discontinued.

Images were coloured with promarkers and papers and ribbons were all oddments from stash-stamped sentiments were from Penny Black and CAS-ual Friday.

Stencils and Distress inks

A break from Christmas cards- I have a CAS card to show today-stencilled background using a stencil from Imagination Crafts and Creative Expressions,script stamp was a craft mag freebie,the Chocolate Baroque Bee was stamped twice and layered -3-D foam pads under wings and Dovecraft Glitter glue added,stamped sentiment is from Stampin Up.

Christmas Gnomes Singing.

 Morning and the new challenge today at Creative Craft Cottage is Christmas /Winter and we are sponsored by Star Jam Lines and I used the cute image  Christmas Gnomes Singing coloured with promarkers.

I added Dovecrafts Glitter glue on the sparkler in his hand and on the snowflake which I cut in half.

The background was stamped with a music score from Kanban -had that a few years, and the die -cut frames from The Works.This card was going to be black and white until I added colour to the gnomes lol.

Christmas is Coming

 Morning and I have two DT post today the 1st one is for the "Christmas is Coming" challenge at Daisy Chain and I used the pre-coloured image   Brighten The Holidays    from Jans Digi Stamps,the sentiment is also from the set.

I made a stepper card -not made one of those for a while and used paper froma stash(at least a couple of years old) string of lights were gifted last year (and forgot to use them!)thank you LISA.

Grumpy Penguins

 Morning and I have two DT posts today the 2nd one is for the Christmas/Winter challenge at

 Craft Rocket.I used the fabulous Grumpy Penguins stamp from Katzelkraft,coloured with promarkers and distress ink in the background.

The stamped sentiment and humbug sweet are a set I won from Stamp Addicts -just cut it apart to fit.

The background was made using an unused stamp I found and was going to give away and thought I would just at least stamp it once in black then overstamped in blue and green distress inks-pretty cool I thought.

Mirror Stamping

 Morning and we have a "Mirror Stamping" challenge at A Place To Start.I went on youtube and checked it out as never done this before and almost never did this time either!Most of them said use a silicone mat which I don't have -or acetate which I tried twice with different stamps and smudged them -about to give up and go ATG-tried with stamping platform another two no nos and after about 4 attempts with this seagull stamp from stampin up finally managed it with a stamping block and added a bit of colour with promarkers.I added a can ring pull covered in Seth Apter Baked Earth embossing powder and a strip of numbers from inside kitchen roll inner.

As it was only a small stamp was going to make a bookmark but decided to make a header for one of my journal page inserts so quite pleased with result.

Xmas Jack Russell

 Morning and can you believe it's November already???

I have three DT posts today and the 3rd one is for the Cute Critters challenge at 613 Avenue Create.

I used the Xmas Jack Russell image from Ikes Art and coloured in promarkers to match a neighbours dog who the card is intended for.

I cut out the image and put it on scraps of P.paper from stash-added glossy accents and texture is Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue,stamped bones and rag toy were craft mag freebies.

CAS -Clean maybe Simple NOT

 Morning and another new month!!!I have three DT posts today and the first one is for the Christmas/Winter challenge at Dragonfly Dreams.

We are sponsored by Papernest Dolls and I was given the image  North Pole Mini Santa coloured with promarkers.

CAS you think??? Simple not so much -in fact by the end of making this card the background stencil, was in the bin and was going to be closely followed by the card!!!

I took at least 20 pics to get a decent one then remembered my daylight lamp-which was out of charge -turned to plug it in and stubbed my toe on a chair -after saying oops(or a word to that effect lol) I finally got a half decent pic.Two hours later I walked past the card on the table and thought ooh it doesn't actually look too bad-soooo here it is lol.The sentiment was Penny Black and texture Cosmic Shimmer PVA glue.
