Smash Your Stash

 Morning and as it's the last Saturday of the month,time for the Smash Your Stash Challenge with Vicki at Stamped Smiles hope you will check out her amazing blog.

The prompt this month was MIX-(mix colours from any media)

I had a panel made with distress inks and different texture stamps and the edge of a plastic card, I was going to add the holes and add it to a smaller journal  but was have neede to cut quite a bit off-so decided to add it to my junk journaland paint the packground with Cosmic Shimmer Precious Metal watercolour paints.My junk journal is now 4inches thick and still not full!

Take Me to the Ocean

 Morning and I have finally made a tag for Tag Tuesday! The smooshed background was aleady made I just cut into a tag size and used an offcut for the little tag.

I used a Woodware stamp set bought from someone on FB decluttering,I stamped the boat inside the bottle and added glossy accents,the two sentiments from the set were stamped onto little tags and I added the bubbles round the borders,string from hubbys shed lol.

Any challenges with digi image prizes I amjust playing for fun/and support as no printer!

Notepad Cover

Morning and a new "No Cards"challenge  blog "Unique Art Expressions"is into its third challenge which is "Fruit", now the only fruit stamps I have are the slices of lemon on a Visible Image stamp set so hope these are okay.Sorting through my oddments box I found a looks like a smooshed background with the right colour so stamped the glass,sentimen and two slices of lemon,the stamped two more on the offcut,added colour with a promarker and added glossy accents.I also found three small notepads I bought must be three yearts ago and decided to cover one which was the reason I originally bought them-still better late than never.

Autumn Colours on a Christmas Card!

 Morning and time for the mid month inspiration post for the ATG/Autumn Colours challenge at

 Stamping Sensations and yes another Christmas card!

We will be announcing some challenge changes, so please make a note to check our new challenge post on 5th November.

I used three stamps from a Pink Frog stamp set,coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.I stamped onto a background I made with three oxide colours on a stamping block and sprayed with water-made about six so more to come lol.Distress ink round the edges and matted onto kraft.The Robin circle sentiment is a stamp from an AALL&Create stamp set.I used inspiration from here for the background.

Just to let everyone know who asked about John -he has had a check up at Castle Hill hosp they have changed his meds and another one soon for another heart scan, also been referred back to memory clinic to check on his Dementia meds-he says he feels okay but at the moment having more bad days then good  :(  x x

Blue Iris

 Morning and OMG Friday the 13th!!

Today I have a card using half of an 8"square stencil I have-well I stencilled it all then cut it in half and made two cards(2nd one next month) I used a Crafters Companion Layered Iris stencil and used blue again as I has a lovely pale blue one in the garden which didn't appear this year!!! I just used as is as needs nothing else-later I added a thank you for a neighbour who lent John a wheelchair after his heart attack so we could still take him out.

National Mushroom Day

 Morning and my card today is for a GDT spot at Day of the Month Club where the challenge is National Mushroom Day.The stencilled background was found already made,I used a doily die and circle die from Spellbinders,and added some stamped and fussy cut mushrooms/acorns  from Rubber Dance and coloured with promarkers,one was stamped onto p.paper and the acorns were stamped onto kraft card.I added a piece of inked corrugated packaging and some fibres from stash.

Some of you may have already seen this card BECAUSE I panicked and only went and posted it a week early lol !!!!!! x

Little Purse Money Holders

 Morning and we have a new ATG challenge at The Crafty Addicts. I made two little paper handbag treat/money holders using  a tutorial I found and can I find it now- been all through history(but I delete after a while) and all through bookmarks and now I need to make a couple more for Christmas!!!

These are 4inches by 2 and a quarter inches

The papers are from The Works and Paper Boutique,card candy/peel offs from stash.

Lesson lesrnt from the first one(white/grey)I made the paper wasn't double sided!

Card Chain Swap Reveal

29 cards were exchanged and my card went to Joanne in USA.

I went with the Autumn option and used dies from Carnation Crafts,branch dies from Stampin Up and P.paper from Crafts and You,sentiment was cut from the same paper.

Neon Herbert

 Morning and I have two posts today-the first one is a Guest Designer spot at Colorful Options.The challenge is Neon/Rainbow Colours and I used the Herbert Hare wooden stamp from Stampotique(had this for years) on to a background made with Art by Marlene watercolours, die-cut frame from Spellbinders and stamped sentiment on the tab from AALL&Create,stuck it down onto a folder which I am going to add to a journal or mini albumn.

Mushrooms in Autumn

 Morning and phew my final fifth DT post for today is for the Autumn challenge at Dragonfly Dreams.

Guest Design Card

 Morning and my fourth of five  posts is for a Guest Designer spot at We Love Stamping.The challenge is a mood board,with three prizes fro Craftstash.

I went with the orange and Robin. 

The two stamped images(coloured with promarkers) and sentiment are  from Pink Frog,and for the background I pressed three oxides onto a stamping block spritzed with water and pressed onto water colour card,the first time I stamped the Robin it blurred so stamped again onto cardstock and cut out and added again.The circle with the R is from AALL&Create.The background circle cut with a Spellbinders die was made testing out which of my sprays still worked and liked the result lol.

Happy Halloween

 Morning and as it's the first of the month-October can you believe I have five DT posts today.So the first one is for the Fruit and/or Veg challenge at Scrapping4fun.Now I never make Halloween cards but

I used the pumkins image from AALL&Create coloured with promarkers,Happy Halloween sticker I was sent in a card and the strip of P.paper/ruler was oddments from Graphic 45-so I created a Halloween card lol.
