Christmas Banner

Late post here and hope you all had a great Christmas---I have made my New Years resolutions already--at least once a week I am going to make a project using an unused or neglected item of stash and to use a forgotten or a new technique - I have so many unused stamps/dies it's unreal also having a BIG declutter--starting with the stamp giveaway in post above!!!
I am posting a banner made for a monthly swap on a FB stamping forum.
This month the theme was Christmas so I used a holly sprig paper background from stash and the stamps were craft mag freebies--seeeee get plenty of use out of these whilst brand new unused bought ones lay in drawer!!!I also stamped images using the masking technique-first of my forgotten techniques lol

Bored of Christmas cards yet???

I have two more Christmas cards to share -they are both flat for posting and the first CAS one was using craft mag freebie stamps for the image plus sentiment and soft snow.
The second one I seem to remember was a Whimsy image could be wrong-the stamped deer and papers were craft mag freebies tpp and added soft snow-pretty much short and to the point lol.

Christmas Freebies

I have two more Christmas cards using practically all freebie stuff the papers/bauble die/bow die/Penny Black stamped sentiment were all craft mag freebies lol-I die-cut the bauble out of P.paper then embossed with ultra thick embossing powder and even that was part of a prize from winning a challenge at Simon Says-the gems were from my stash and the poinsettia is a Penny Black stamp-stamped a few times and layered up.

80th Birthday

Morning and I have a birthday card to show today I made this one for my hubby to give to his brother on his 80th birthday last month.I used a pic from when he worked on the Dock Head and printed it out three different sizes to see which one looked better and ended up using them all lol.The B.paper was from The Works/the frame from stash had absolutely yonks and no idea where it came from-but have a couple more too!!!/the metal cogs were embossed with Baked Earth EP(my first attempt using them)the sentiment was computer generated in Dafont and was copied from the back of photos which my FIL used to use for leaving messages to his sons.I can say hw was delighted with the card-thankfully.

Morning and time for a new challenge at Colour Crazy and as we are sponsored by Oddball Stamps I used the crafty image Artist Extraordinaire coloured with promarkers.

Love These Two lol

I made two cards with free images found here on Kajsans scrap blog.
The first one was coloured with promarkers and added glossy accents/glamour dust,the papers were left over scraps of craft mag freebies,stamped sentiment from Penny Black,doodles were made with ruler and fineliner pen--all straight forward and simple right!!!

NOW for a laugh---CAS it maybe BUT---now when I first looked at the image and I have no idea why??? I though the end was a branch with leaves so coloured it brown as it did it I moved the image and realised it was a Santa hat--yes yes I know what an idiot --now I know what it is I see it straight away lol.Gets better -finished colouring it stuck it onto card and stamped the sentiment into the top corner --as I tried to open the card thought omg --had stuck the sentiment on what I thought was the top but had card upside down!!!had to trim round the image and stick onto another card and yes I can hear you all laughing CAS my foot!!! putting it politely lol.Took me longer than the first one!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two More !!!

Late today and posting two as they are the same Christmas Candle image from Pickled-Potpourri and coloured with promarkers.Gold heat embossed the edges,wood paper from The Works,top paper a craft mag freebie.

Image treated the same-promarkers and gold embossed edges,pearls from stash,papers and bow die were craft mag freebies-in real life the bows don't look soo bright !!!

Errr Christmas Again lol

Morning it is our 49th wedding anniversary today just say waiting for my medal to arrive lol.
I also have another Christmas card to share--I won the "Christmas Candle"image from Sheepski and I coloured it with promarkers.
I stamped and gold embossed the backing card with a Penny Black poinsettia stamp and also embossed the edges using a new very juicy embossing pad which ended up a little thick and messy in places but I am happy with that,the poinsettia was a die from Creative Dies,gems from stash.

Boy With Sled

Morning and we have a new "Winter Wonderland" challenge at Stinkin Inkers and I made a Christmas card using my favourite image from Robyns Fetish--sadly no longer trading.The image is coloured with promarkers,soft snow and glitter for the snow/B.paper and sentiment were craft mag freebies.

Now it's usually Holly and her mishaps but----we have an indoor shed where John goes to listen to his radio,smoke his pipe and make his models---with superglue---to date he has stuck his tee-shirt to his stomach, bend down to pick something up off the floor then asked for help finding his glue---stuck to the top of his woollen hat he wears in there--last night was a corker OMG still laughing now --he spilt superglue on his desk it went on his pipe stem which he then stuck to his lips he came through peeling the last of the glue og his lips-OMG I wished I had got a pic to share!!!

Another Christmas

Morning and a little late this morning sorry ladies--we have a new ATG/Use Washi Tape challenge at 613 Avenue Create.I went ATG purely because I don't have any washi tape--I made a Christmas card using from A Pine Cone image from SparkleNSprinkle coloured with promarkers-I couldn't find it in their shop so maybe discontinued-I have had it a few years TBH,the stitched square die cut was from The Works.
As per usual the great B.papers and stamped sentiment are craft mag freebies--just realised I could get rid of all my bought stash as still have a great choice to use with all these craft mag freebies and I only buy one a month!!!
Anyway enough waffle --here is my card.

Decorated Gift Bag

Morning and December already OMG???
I have two DT posts today and the 2nd one is for the ATG challenge at Love To Craft and I decorated a recycled gift bag using it to hold this memory box card which was given as a birthday present.
The two die-cut frames are from Gummiapan,flower dies from Tattered Lace,liquid pearls and peel off corners(blast from the past lol)from stash.The center die was from The Works and I also cut it in black to act as a dropped shadow.

Penguins Snowball Blast

Morning well what can I say December already!!!
Holly had two mishaps yesterday ---first of all managed to get a comb so tangled in her hair she had to have it cut out and is now sporting a fringe!!!Then I got a call from her Mum could I pick her up from school as she had had an accident--a basketball had been thrown off the court and Holly tried to head it??? but it hit her on the side of her face and she ended with a headache and felt sick---mind you she managed all her tea and half a jar of picked gerkin spears!!! So no harm done there lol.
