Use a Digi Challenge

Morning hope you are all well,the challenge at One Stitch at a Time (who are also having a DT call)is sooooo easy----use a digi and the sponsor is The Stitchy Bear Outletand the winner receives all the digi images used by the DT in challenge 178.I have used my favourite image "Shy Girl"by Barbara Jenson-coloured with promarkers and copics,papers are Daydream by Heidi Grace,used my seemingly everlasting ribbon,liquid pearls,selection of dies,tonic punch for border and flowers and dewdrops(love these)and of course I used my favourite card shape upright Z-fold.

One of my favourite images

I love this Sassy Studio image-Katniss-Lady of Fire,it looks fantastic whatever colour it is.The image is coloured with promarkers and silk ribbon from stash.

woo hoo got quite a few images back

I acually found a folder on my e-mails "photos" never took any notice before but looking for my image clicked on it and found quite a few images that hadn't been deleted(only because I didn't know they were they-ignorance is definitely bliss lol)and quite a few of my favourites are in the DT folders sooo quite a happy bunny.This card I made last month but haven't blogged yet.

All my images GONE !!!

My son has all his work and tattoo images on the computer so I tend to use my laptop,and to stop it getting clogged up and if computer breaks I put all my digi images on a memory stick and what happens --my memory stick has broken the fitting has gone inside sooooo have lost all my digi images!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This image was already printed off but haven't a scanner to copy it eitherAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH-I coloured the image with promarkers and chalked a sky,prima papers-Engraver,corner dies and coloured cardstock from Papermill Direct.

The new challenge today at TWISTED TUESDAY is"Primary Colours" and the twist is -use buttons.I have used a pre-coloured Mo's digital pencil image-"Best Friends"from Hobby house,papers are a mix from Lawn fawn and mag freebies,tonic punch,corner die,buttons,paperclips and dewdrops from stash,coloured cardstock from Papermill Direct.

Fourth attempt card!!!

Now I chose this image because I liked it BUT after the fourth attempt the attraction has slightly waned!On the first attempt I messed up the very last part I coloured,the second attempt I decided to colour the skin with my new copics WRONG she ended up looking like a satsuma!Had to print off another image(grandaughters had used the last ones)and my memory stick which I keep all my images on decided not to work???so had to print one off the DT blog,so this simple card has taken me nearly all day!I stamped a phone image on the card blank(linen card from Papermill direct)paper is K&C,buttons,liquid pearls from stash,used my new corner die from Joanna Sheen.The image is "Sweet talk Sassy" finally coloured with promarkers -from Sassy Studio Designs our sponsor this week at ARTISTIC INSPIRATIONS and the challenge is BUTTONS-now how easy is that? she says ironically lol we all have buttons in our stash don't we?course we do.

Spotlight Technique

The house is very quiet at the moment as Matthew,Tasha and grandaughters have gone to Cornwall for a week,they went 5o'clock yesterday morning and came in to give us a kiss and cuddle before they went bless them.They have also got their own house now too and get the keys on the Monday after they come home on the saturday and move in on the 13th,and daughter Helen has also been reconciled with her husband and also moving out-so we are going from seven to two -just me and John(does this mean we have to actually speak to each other now? lol)Luckily they are all just 10mins walk away.
My card today is for the new challenge at 613 Avenue Create "Spotlight Challenge"and this is my first try at this technique and not totally happy with it,not sure if I picked the right image for this technique.The sponsors are-
Sandies samples and Di's Digis.I have used a LOTV rubber stamped image "Little Girls Story time"-I have had this stamp about three years and never used it,I stamped the image twice and cut a circle for the coloured part,faux stitched round the image,the papers are Tim Holtz-crowded attic,tonic border punch and banner die,coloured cardstock from Papermill Direct and added liquid pearls and a gem brad.
