Mini Tornado in Hull !

Morning everyone and welcome to my new follower ZOE,thank you hope you like what you see and stay.On Sunday we had a mini tornado in Hull amd we were in it's path.It was dead calm with not a breath then without warning with a sound like a steam train the wind came whirling everything round, slamming windows shut at one side and blowing them open at the other, loads of tile off and tall ariels down the street, the garden was flattened, but luckily that was all for us.We must have got the edge because close to us there was trees uprooted and someones trampoline went over the roof and landed in the road, the poor cats were terrified and as we were looking after the grandaughters for the day Ellie was crying but Holly was looking out the window-saying that is terrible, listen for the sirens bet there's loads of people dead! she is such a cheerful child-we even made the Sky and BBC news,if that was the edge of one I would not like to be in a full blown one!
My card today is another criss cross card,a wedding one, papers are Harmony from 7 Gypsies and Classic Elegance from Melissa Frances, wooden heart, ribbon and die-cut flower from stash.Yesterday I never stopped but seemed to get nowhere so will catch up with all your blogs today.

You picked an amazing paper to make this pretty card. So very dramatic...I like it lots. Didn't like your description of the tornado at ALL! I've been through one (with a 3 wk old baby and living in a tiny trailer) and hope never to encounter another one. Your description was spot on as to what the sounds are like. So thankful that you & your family stayed safe, with no terrible damage! TFS & Hugs.

Absolutely beautiful and such lovely papers.
So glad you were o.k. from the tornado. I live where there are plenty of tornadoes and it is very scary. About 3-4 yrs. ago, there was so much devastation caused in my state. Really horrible.

I've never experienced a tornado before, small or big, must have been a bit frightening...
Your card is so elegant, the papers work so well for a wedding card and I like gphow you decorated the edges with ribbon. Nice work!

This is a gorgeous wedding card and quite different to see a pocket card although just looking back on your blog you've made quite a few lovely ones. I'm having the same trouble as you and not getting anywhere fast so I am trying to catch up with commenting now.
That mini tornado must have been very frightening, glad you got away lightly and no damage.

So relieved to hear that you survived the mini tornado. That's one thing we do not have control over and that is nature and time. Just adore your vintage creation. Love the fold.
