Vintage Garden

I have two posts today and both using mixed media-down to the inspiration from Pamellia and if you haven't already seen her amazing blog you should definitely check it out.Pamellia has started her own mixed media challenge blog "Anything But Cute" and the first challenge is "Vintage Garden."I embossed a piece of cardboard with a brick wall EF,and added distress inks, various die-cuts and added textured paste, acrylic paint, distress inks and frantage,I tried to make the bicycle look old and rusty-hope you think it worked.

I do think it works Carol! The bicycle looks old and rusty and almost growing into the rest of the vines and fence. That EF background is awesome sauce and well done! Do I see a crow sitting on the bicycle seat? Wonderful design!

Thanks so much for joining in our first challenge, "Vintage Garden", at Anything But Cute! Hugz! ~Niki DT

Carol, I'm loving that old brick wall! I would love to know the manufacturer of that embossing folder for future use! Your bicycle DOES look old and rusted, like it's been discarded in a tangle of vines! I really love a crow on a scene, too, and this is reminiscent of Halloween, which I adore!

Thank you for joining in with our Vintage Garden Challenge at Anything But Cute! Hugs!
