Mystique Hat

Morning and hope everyone is well-we have a new challenge starting at Get Creative which is Gothic or medieval and as we are sponsored by Rick St Dennis I used the image "Mystique Hat" coloured with promarkers.I covered a piece of chipboard with gesso, then several colours of acrylic which I then thought was a bit dark so some white acrylic and crackle glaze, added a strip of lilac tulle,a square of embossed mirri card, wiped with black acrylic to take off the shine, then die cut frame and image with a sizzix die,tulle/spider charm and purple bead from stash.

I especially like the bg you created - the metallic embossing is such a great look, and your tulle bow does well to finish the look! Thanks for sharing with the Eureka stamps button and bow challenge this week - come back again! Dorothy S, DT member.

Splendid coloring and designing. Love the way you've done that background, and I actually thought you had some embossed metal behind the focal image until I read the post. That mirror card works wonderful to get the metallic look that is so fab with this image. Well done! TFS & Hugs

Mystical, spooky, scary, all those words work to describe this card. I think you did a great job paying attention to details and textures to enhance the look and feel of the image.
