This is gorgeous Carol, I thought it was an mdf plaque to begin with, you've really made it look like panels of wood and love the embellishments. I found some old coins last night whilst sorting through some things and was wondering what I could do with them. You've given me some great inspiration. Bet your husband will absolutely love it x

Like many of us, I started card making using kits with pre-printed and coloured toppers. Then we all got into digi stamps and colouring our own toppers but, I still have a huge stash of pre-printed kits in my spare room (I even have a kit containing oriental coins). For some time I have been thinking that I really should get those kits out and start making use of them. Your card has reminded me of this and you have inspired me with your clever use of things you already had.

Perhaps we all need to take a look around our craft stash from time to time!
