Veggie Stamping

I saw this challenge I fancied having a go at but because of one thing and another only just got to have a play!Stamping with veggies and as I was makig a stew kept the end of the celery and made the background using Decoart arylic and looking back might have got a better result using oxides or distress ink pad.I stamped a Single Rose from Honey Doo Crafts then stamped onto watercolour card and coloured with promarkers-some doodling round the edges then done!

Three Card Kits

Something a little different for me I was gifted three card kits from Patricia as I had never tried using card kits before.
The first one I used pretty much as is except I cut the card blank in half to use as a mat to make the card slightly larger -pearls were included I just added a foiled butterfly from my stash and stamped a sentiment on the plaque and added on 3-D foam pads.

The second card I added some black cardstock for matting and layering/another butterfly/fabric flower and button from stash,the rest was provided in the kit,I coloured the foliage and berries with promarkers,centered and added on 3-D foam pads.

The third card was shaped and I decided to make an easel card-well I didn't really think this through or I would have scanned the stamped background for the lower part too so added some pink cardstock to the base.I added the pink gems and another foiled butterfly-the rest was included in the kit.

Artist Trading Coins

Just a break from Christmas cards-I have some Artist Trading Coins to share which I made for a swap on a FB forum-the background on the first set is stencil clean off and the stamps are from Crafty Individuals.They were all cut from 2 layers of cardstock with creative dies.

The background on the second set was oxides,the texture paste through a TH stencil and a leaf with a die-cut from The Works and the stamped sentiment from an Artisan Design set.

Fall Cotton Wreath

Grumpy Penguins!!!

Morning and I have two Christmas cards to share using my fabulous new "Grumpy Penguins" stamp from Katzelkraft-I have made four cards with these so two left to share lol.
Strips of P.paper from stash, stamped sentiment from Penny Black and my favourite texture stamp round the edges.
Background on first card was an unliked watercolour my daughter did and she tore it up and binned-then I rescued it knowing it would be brilliant for backgrounds-binning it indeed lol
The background on the second card was made with a piece of card used for cleaning my brayer.

Anniversary and Christmas

Morning -today it's our 50th wedding anniversary-but will be just a quiet day!Makes me wonder when you see how much a wedding costs nowadays -we got married in the registry office at ten past nine on the saturday morning and back home by half past as no pubs open then-it had snowed since the Thursday night so a white wedding outside lol but not even a pic no mobiles then.
I also have a card to share with you which I made for a Christmas card swap on the Digi Doodles FB forum.I used the Digi Doodles image

Too Early for Happy New Year?

Morning and I have two posts today and the second one is a GDT spot at Jan's Digi Stamps the challenge is ATG/Brighten The Holiday but I am showcasing one of the new Happy New Year Sets.

Fancy a Doodle?

Morning and WOW December already!!!
WE have a new ATG/Doodling/Zentangle challenge at 613 Avenue Create-twist suggested by Ginny.
I went with the Doodling option-the stamp is from StudioLight and I paper pieced the hearts and words on an old dictionary page.Oxide ink smooshed onto the card then same ink through a TH stencil,script stamp was a craft mag freebie and then doodled edges and lines with a fine liner pen.

CAS Thank You

MOrning and thank you for all your lovely comments and best wishes on previous postand this card seems most appropriate!
I finally have a card to share-a simple CAS thank you card but a card all the same.
The flower stamp is from CAS-UAL FRIDAYS and the stencil is from AALL&CREATE.Flowers coloured with promarkers and the three red circles came about because I got red on the card from the stencil???
Stamped sentiment was a craft mag freebie and I doodled round the edges.The actual card is cream but light is rubbish at the moment!!!

Quick Update and Thank You

Morning and first of all Holly would just like to thank you all for the lovely comments you left on her cards in the last post or on FB she is delighted with them all.
John has a fall on Saturday night at 10 o'clock(perfect timing!!!)bad gash on the head and blood all over-finally got home from hosp half seven Sunday morning,only managed a quick hours snooze and despite a good sleep last night feel worse than yesterday morning???At vets and Dr this adter-noon and babysitting for grandsons tonight---sooooo please bear with me and will catch up with you all as soon as normality resumes.

Stamps and a Stencil

I would like to welcome my new follower-JULIE -and I have another Tracy Evans inspired card.

The background was made using the stencil monoprint technique-I have used this technique a few times but didn't know it actually had a name lol.
The stencil is from Imagination Crafts and I used oxide inks,also inked round the edges using a piece of card as a guide and working outwards with the ink.I then stamped and heat embossed the rose from Honey Doo Crafts and coloured with oxide ink,texture stamp from Lisa Horton and stamped sentiment from HOTP.I made the spotlight round the flower using a circle of card and oxide ink from centre of the circle outwards to create the spotlight then doodled round the edge for definition-splatters using a Graphik line painter pen and a strip of dictionary paper to finish.

A New DT and A First Bridge Fold

Morning and this is my first DT card for A Place To Start challenge blog.The new challenge is a colour challenge"Caffeinated Tones" you may use neutrals or othe spot colours.

This is also my first bridge fold papers are from HOTP,all stamps are from a craft mag freebie set with added glossy accents on watch face,metal brads re embossed with Baked Earth EP and dabbed with distress stain,string from hubbys shed lol,images were cut out and then put onto 3-D foam pads with the tag and sentiment.This card also folds flat to fit in an envelope too.

Ruby with Birthday Cake

Morning and as it's the 1st of the month I have two DT posts today-the first one is for ATG challenge at Colour Crazy and as we are sponsored by Polka Doodles I used the image Ruby Birthday Cake coloured with promarkers cut out with a Gummiapan die-cut frame and distress ink round the image,papers from The Works and dies from Memory Box and Joanna Sheen,dewdrops from stash.Have left space to personalise.

Whispers in the Wind

Morning and the card I have to post today was inspired by the brilliant Tracy Evans.
The background was made by dipping a stencil into spritzed distress ink then put onto the cardstock and was roiginally going to be two smaller cards but ddecided to go DL.
I then put a die-cut circle down and brushed distress ink outwards to make the circle shadow,craft mag freebie splat and script stamps-teasel stamp from Bee Crafty,stencil and stamped sentiment from Artisan Designs,ripped pieces of book page and fibres from stash.Really pleased with this one!
