Vintage Typewriter

Morning--now what do you do when you realise you need a DT card for tomorrow ---first you panic then shoot well matbe not shoot into craft room --then you find a paper and think ooh that fits nicely with the craft mag freebies that came through the door on Saturday sooo naturally you make a completely unrelated card which I might add you are really happy with lol--so here it is---the collage typewriter tag stamp is a craft mag freebie and so is the sentiment added on a piece of white card and paper pieced.the vintage camera was a tag from goodness knows where which I distressed with grandaughters great nail file which then accidently fell into my drawer shhh.
I stamped onto the B.paper with more freebie stamps which came with the set(definitely keeping this months)I backed everything onto kraft card and distress inked all edges and added twine to the tag.

Postcard/ATC and Artist Trading Coins

Morning and I have two DT posts today-the second one is for the new ATG/Just for Fun challenge at A Inky Mess and I made a postcard/3 Trading Coins and an ATC set also used for swaps in a FB forum.
First of all the ATC set--
The image is part of an A4 Docrafts collage stamp(had for at least 5yrs and used once!)edged with a Crafters Companion texture stamp and the keys were coloured with another neglected stash--Twinkling H2O's

Next Artist Trading Coins--
The ladies head stamped image was a craft mag freebie and I believe from IndigoBlu-added a little promarker colouring and doodles with ruler and fineliner pen the backgrounds were smooched with distress inks.
The Crow which was a free gift from Crafty Individuals when I bought some stamps(yes some of my stamps were actually bought lol)was stamped and cut out/coloured with a promarker and doodling added with fineliner pen.

NOW-- my postcard first of all the card was smooched through oxide inks stamped with same Docrafts A4 collage stamp in versamark then wiped over with 4 colours of mica powders(more neglected stash)then over stamped with Chocolate Baroque Bee/Crafters Companion texture stamps and a couple of craft mag freeebie stamps--distress inked round edges of all made--just a pity I couldn't get a pic to show the mica shine.

Rubber Band Stamping

First of all welcome to my new follower JANETTE.
I was trawling through you tube and saw this technique which reminded me I used elastic(or laggy bands as we call them lol) bands round a piece of doubled up cardboard a few years ago and would you believe still had it in my bits and bobs jar!!!So fished it out and had a go -I masked off a centre section and used oxide ink pad on the bands instead of pens and didn't spray with the water,I then sponged on a lighter colour.The image is from Inkylicious and the stamped sentiment was a craft mag freebie.I was also inspired by the new "Up to one third" challenge at AAA Cards.

Happy Birthday Hanna

Right first of all --no more ducks!!! we had another foxy visit last night and not a pretty sight this morning to greet me!!!Just hope he doesn't make another visit tonight back for the chickens have taken extra precautions tonight just hope it's enough.

I made a birthday card for my two little grandsons to give to their other Grandma whose birthday it was today so now safe to share-as Hanna is Polish she is known as Babcia(Bab-cha)instead of Grandma.I used a phot of the two boys to personalise it for her.The papers are from The Works,die-cut branches were stems on flowers with the flowers cut off,and I used a matchstick inked to elongate the stick Jozef is holding, I also added Heather flower soft.The sentiment was computer generated in Dafont.

Josephs Coat Technique

Found a tutorial on you-tube called Josephs Coat and been having a play.Fist of all you cover the white cardstock in --well the first attempt I used distress ink pads,then you stamp images in versamark and clear emboss--then cover the card in black or dark brown then wipe over with kitchen roll to take the colour off the embossed images leaving the colour-- my first attempt I used baby wipe which resulted in taking most of the black off too.Stamped sentiment from IndigoBlu and main stamps from Polka doodles.

Second attempt--cover white card with oxides this time then stamped with Chocolate Baroque stamps and covered card with Gathered Twigs distress ink then wiped over with kitchen roll much better effect-was looking for something to add onto the front and found a packet of fabric banners bought from a craft fair years ago!!! had them sooo long they were going yellow so distressed edges further stamped Honey bee onto it and added string then silicone into centre only so it wasn't flat-much better but still not happy so will try technique again.

It's Twin Boys!!!

Late posting but hope you are all well-I was asked to make a Twin Boys Baby card using a photo of them -I used Marianne,Tattered Lace and Memory Box die-cuts.
The ribbon/twine/liquid pearls and B.paper were from stash and the sentiment was computer generated in Dafont.They were born early and the picture is a little dark but not a lot I could do about that.

Beautiful Seahorse

Morning and back today with an ATG/Tag it challenge at Artistic Inspirations -we are sponsored by Fabrika Fantasy and I used the beautiful Pre-coloured image Beautiful Seahorse just had to add glossy accents/glamour dust/dewdrops and a few splatters-Scallop dies from Creative Dies.
Background was made with Oxide inks/Tim Holtz and Artistic Flair stencils.I saw inspiration on Viv's Visuals using the Bokeh technique-I applied white geso through the one of the stencils but then the best effect got covered by the image so wiped a baby wipe through the stencil to take off the ink--sooo quite pleased with the result.

Re New Years resolution using neglected stash and new techniques-Bokeh and taking ink off with baby wipe were new to me and the previous card I used neglected water colours and long forgotten card candy so a good start!!!

Herbert Hare

Morning and we have a new ATG/Watercolouring challenge at 613 Avenue Create we are also looking for a couple of new DT members -only one project a month and as we don't use sponsors you can do your own thing.
Our watercolour option was suggested by Natalie.
I used the fabulous stamp Herbert Hare from Stampotique and coloured with watercolours.The die-cuts are from Gummiapan and added card candy.

Soccer Boy

Morning and we have a new Happy Birthday challenge at CCC Digi Creations sponsored by Craftin Desert Divas and I used the sponsor image "Soccer Boy" you also get a pre-coloured image too.I used the black and white image coloured with promarkers,enlarged the football and printed three times then fussy cut them all out put them onto 3-D foam pads,the grass strip was recycled packaging saved by my grandaughters(got them well trained lol)stamped sentiment was craft mag freebie and the die-cut rosette was amongst some football die-cuts kindly gifted from Michelle.This will probably go to my football mad grandson on his 3rd birthday later this year.

Thank you the cataract op went well but when he went in the woman next to me started complaing about how long she was waiting last time as a man with dementia had to be calmed down before his op and they shouldn't have brought him!!!-the waiting room was full so I just sort of grimaced and went back to my mag--but looking back sooo wish I had said something-because as a couple of you know John was diagnosed with early Alzhiemers and vascular dementia nearly two years ago -although he is still compliant with the all medical treatment/scans and such he has had it could be him in the future and does that mean he should be denied treatment???

P.E Anyone

UPDATE ON GIVEAWAY -grandaughters picking names out of jar when they come tomorrow.
Morning Happy New Year to you all and as it's the 1st January I have three DT posts today and the last one is for Stinkin Inkers "It's New To Me" challenge. I interpreted this as new stamps and dies but could be New Baby/house/job---The woodgrain paper was from The Works/all stamps+stamped sentiment were craft mag freebies-I heat embossed stamps on background then paper pieced the stamped gym bag-mounted onto a shape which was a die-cut waste.
The trainers(coloured with promarkers)/football boots and football ball were dies sent as a swap from Michelle-thank you Michelle they are brilliant.
My SIL ordered this card for her grandson who is a P.E. teacher and former footballer until injury stopped his career!!!
