Graduation Card

I had a request for a graduation card for someone who had done a vetinarian course and this was only the 2nd graduation card I have ever done so hope it was okay.

Now the truth is a made a card even too a pic so I have actual proof I made it-went to take it to the person concerned on Friday and can I find this card ??? can I heck have gone through everything in my craft room and nothing so this was a hasty last minute replacement -so now i suppose the original will turn up now!!!

The B.paper was from my scrap drawer-the sentiment was cut from an Art By Marlene pad -the mortar board hats were a free google image resized, fussy cut and put onto 3-D foam pads-the dog and cat stamps were craft mag freebies.

Oh what a shame Carol, so annoying when you cannot find something you need for a deadline. Mind you, this is a terrific card, I love your design and all of the cute graduation caps.

Oh, my gosh, how could it just disappear like that? Wait... silly me... those things happen at my house all the time, particularly in my craft room. I'm sorry you had to scurry to make a new one, but you sure did a great job on it. I'm not one for making grad cards. I usually buy them, but if it was for vet school I might make an exception.

Oh no Carol! What a bummer to have misplaced a card you've done way in advanced, but you've come through with this really fun and adorable design here! Love the added critters too!! HUGS

I bet it's under a magazine you were looking at LOL. Doesn't matter as the replacement is perfect and I'm sure the recipient will be thrilled.

I share your frustration, I am constantly losing things, it drives me nuts. I get frustrated by the time that it wastes. Anyway your replacement card looks great, I love the brown and black together xx

Its a great make Carol - I wonder if the original has turned up yet???? Hugs xx

hahaha isn't that always the way? Anyway at least you had a bit of practise first, whihc would've made the second card easier and you can still use it as an ordinary grad card for an animal over. It looks great and will be well received I'm sure. CarolG

Giggling away at your lost card antics - glad I'm not the only one who does that. They're usually back in my card box from when I was colour matching or in (one of my) piles of half done things lying around my craft room! I have a lot of those...glad you have drawers of bits, too ;-) They're both wonderful. Not sure I'd know where to start, though I know I did buy a graduation stamp set at one point.... x

Perfect card for a vet and now I understand the story about the lost card lol.
I spend so much time looking for things I have put down. I am sure someone keeps moving them!! MIchelle x
