Galleon on Dark Sea

Morning and today I am posting a card I made for BIL birthday in November. The galleon stamp was from a stamp swap last year on FB.

The background was a painted piece but the moon smudged and was destined for the bin -decided I didn't mind the smudged moon so stamped the galleon and added some white acrylic to the waves and matted onto black card.

So nice to see you posting again Carol even if you are not actively crafting right now. Good job you didn't condemn that lovely intense piece to the bin as it makes a perfect backdrop for the ship.

WOW! Carol, such an effective card and beautiful too. The moon enhanced by "crashing waves!" in the distance and with movement around the ship, is fabulous. I LOVE this card. Far too brilliant for the bin.
Hope you're feeling recovered?

This is a lovely male themed card Carol, a beautiful stamp and great use of your 'almost discarded' background - there's always a way round most 'bloopers'.
Glad to see you back blogging again.

That smudged moon is perfect for this work. Isn't it great that what is a mistake/discard for one project is wonderful for another? CarolG
