Deepest Sympathy

Morning and I had a quick sympathy card to make for a neighbour whose husband had a massive unexpected heart attack whilst she was in the bath- coming down to find him dead in the chair where she left him watching TV!

I  used a pre-coloured image from Sparkle and Sprinkle,B.papers from The Works,die-cut frame was a Gemini die from Crafters Companion, washi tape down right hand side from Happy Planner.

Such a beautiful sympathy card. I'm sure it gave some comfort to your neighbour. Such a shock for her and exactly what happened to my Mam but my youngest sister was in the room with him. As she was only 9 at the time she was unaware of what had happened thankfully.

What a sad story Carol. I can't even begin to imagine how shocking and heartbreaking it must have been for your poor neighbour. Your card is lovely and you've coloured it beautifully. The woodgrain makes a great background too x

Carol, this is such a lovely card, I just bought that wreath at Jan's to go with my Moodtape cotton plant clear stamps. I believe I too will use the pre-colored version, it's way too delicate an image - I would not be able to stay in those thin lines coloring it. I am saving this as a sample though, your design is fab. So sorry about your your neighbors. My father-in-law did that to my m-i-l - she felt SOOOOOOO guilty, she was outside only a few minutes picking veggies in their garden. I told her it was God's plan so he could peacefully. XOXO
