Video Boy

Well at last I have a card to show BUT---my mojo has been on a break and this card has taken me three weeks to put together even though I had the image printed out!!!Three weeks notice and was wanted for today so ended up colouring the image Video Boy from Mos Digital Pencil with promarkers and finishing the card this morning not happy but it is what it is!

He is 9yrs old and plays Fortnite so found a small image on Google to add, three pop cans stamped and die-cut from a craft mag freebie set-added a can ring pull on 3-D foam and a peel off number-P.paper from stash- K&Co from QVC days with Dawn Bibby.

Uploading this pic and have found a card a I made a couple of months ago so something  else to share tomorrow.

Hello Carol, It's a brilliant card for a boy. Do love Mo's images and you've picked a perfect one for the boy who is permanently attached to his games console! Great use of the ring-pull as well, that's really clever.

Thanks for joining in with us at Crafty Calendar Challenge this month.

P.S. I know exactly how you feel about mojo disappearing - mine upped and left for 7 years!! Only just getting back into cards and colouring now after an extended break. I'm sure yours will not be anywhere near as bad!

This is just the card for a kid these days. It looks perfect to me! Yesterday I finally got my room in order so I'm looking forward to some actual stamping. Still waiting for two more furniture pieces from Wayfair and then I'll call it good. It's been a while. I hope your mojo returns in full force soon.

I am sorry to read that your mojo is playing hide and seek, I know what that feels like, my mojo has been hiding for a very long time now. However, this is a gorgeous card, I love all of the embellishments - the Coke cans and the ring-pull as well as the brilliant addition of the little picture.

Carol, your card is really cute. This image is perfect for young boys of today, most are playing fortnight. I think they are going to wear out their finger joints before old age. I love that you added the soda cans and pop top. A great idea. Sorry your mojo has been hiding. I suffer with that from time to time. Thanks, for sharing this cute card.

I think it's perfect for a gaming boy of that age. With no mojo and when struggling to make the card, I often find myself unable to appreciate the finished result. But as others don't know how it felt making it, they will see the card differently.
