Late one again- I quite liked the new challenge at CAS mix it up Botanical Prints- I used the technique of putting leaves through the big shot between two pieces of watercolour paper-trouble was the first time was mid Summer and it worked perfectly even getting some of the colour from the flowers used too onto the paper---
I picked the leaves from aptly named Painters pallette plant, trouble was we had had three days of rain and this was the only decent print I got as most just went through a squashy wet mush!!!
I didn't outline the leaves that was how they came out but quite a good effect.
I then used one as a stamp with oxides and pressed on white cardstock, cut out with creative dies and a circle of corrugated card.I doodled the borders and stamped a friend sentiment wit a Julie Hickey stamp.
This is the one I made 4yrs ago---Using an image my son who is a self taught Tattoo Artist drew.
