Best wishes to everyone for the New Year and thank you for your support over the past year.
I decided to make a background by scoring a piece of card at every inch then dragging a brown and green ink pad down the card from the top then turning and reapeat-quite pleased with that so stamped a couple of teasels not perfect because of the score lines but went with it.
Then stamped a few mushrooms from a Rubber Dance stampe set onto a few oddments of coloured papers and the large brown one (which when posted the pic saw it was actually floating!!!)was stamped onto one of the leaves through the bigshot that did not work,stamped Bees from Chocolate Baroque and left it because it wasn't what I envisaged!

First of all, wishing you the happiest new year in 2022, and I hope it's a better one for you and yours! I love how you created this background! Swiping the inkpad over scored lines turned out great, and I love the little honeycomb in the sides that perfectly coordinate with those little honeybees in the image! Great job on this one!

I adore your journal page, it is simply fabulous. Your backing card is inspired - I just know that if I had tried that, I would have been far too heavy handed with the ink. All your little mushrooms are so much fun, they remind me of the Walt Disney Fantasia cartoon of dancing mushrooms.

Hello Carol, and happy new year! I have finally caught up viewing and reading all your posts for the last 30(!) days. I'll never catch up entirely with everyone, but I must say you have sure made some beautiful and fabulous cards. I love the gin and lemon cake, tee hee!
