Journal Page

Morning and the last Saturday of the month so a journal page challenge with Vicki check out her brilliant page-the challenge this month is "use ribbon/fibres/twine/thread"---(oops sorry put wrong date in!!!)

Now I must admit despite thinking about this all month it finally crept up on me pretty quickly lol.

I found a page already made with Brushos and added a remnant strip I found in oddments box.

Added some fibres,a teabag.a stamped butterfly with a hessian one on the top.

Hope everyone stays safe in this new scary world.

I've never seen Brushos, but I sure love what ypou created with them. Your background is beautiful. I am in awe of how you used the teabag, as well as your use of ribbon. And of course, I love the butterfly, Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Bleubeard's and my theme.

I really need to discover Vicki she sounds very interesting. Journalling is so good for experimenting with new mediums and ideas, it is also fantastic as a lot of the constrains placed on you with card making are simply not there and you can just express yourself as you have done here. It's a great page and one you will look back on with pleasure I'm sure. Thank you for adding to the flow at River of Creativity. xx

What a gorgeous page Carol. I love all the details you used and all that texture too. It all works wonderful together. I particulary like how you added the tea bag and the burlap butterfly on it. Thanks for joining us at Try It On Tuesday for our texture challenge and also for linking up at Art Journal Journey for Elizabeth's challenge. It is much appreciated and hope to see your journal page with next month's supply. Hugs-Erika

What a wonderful way to use up some of your overflowing stash - a problem we all have!

A brilliant Journal Page, I adore the lively colours and your use of Hessian and fibers. But best of all the crowning glory of your two little butterflies.

Brilliantly gorgeous put together with a background and remnant strip. The fibers look great with it, and you sure fooled me with that teabag, but now that I look more closely... A job well done, Carol!

Fab page. I am a huge fan of using up leftover bits and I feel like many of my most favourite pages include remnants of past projects (like the one I added today LOL!)
Happy AJJ!
