Spotlight on the Astrantia

Morning and my card today is for the mid month inspiration at Stamping Sensations.

I used the same stamp from AALL&Create and the same Spellbinders die-cut frame. I used the spotlight technique and after taking four times to unstick and align the spotlight I realised I had picked the wrong technique for the image unfortunately-still stuck now and I coloured the spotlight with promarkers, stamped sentiment from Pink Frog and P.paper from The Paper Tree.

Gorgeous colors on this birthday card. The spotlight technique is a great way to color just a portion of an image and bring it to life.

What a lovely spotlight card, Carol! I have not used that technique for a while, and need to think about it. There is nothing as mysterious and captivating as a spotlight creation like yours! Beautifully done!

Stunning spotlight card, Carol, and I think your spotlight piece is lined up well. :-D Getting them exactly right is always the most difficult part, but I love making them and it doesn't discourage me at all. Great job! Thanks so much for playing along in our "Anything Goes" challenge at QKR Stampede and good luck in the draw.
