Autumn Colours on a Christmas Card!

Morning and time for the mid month inspiration post for the ATG/Autumn Colours challenge at

Stamping Sensations and yes another Christmas card!

We will be announcing some challenge changes, so please make a note to check our new challenge post on 5th November.

I used three stamps from a Pink Frog stamp set, coloured with Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.I stamped onto a background I made with three oxide colours on a stamping block and sprayed with water-made about six so more to come lol.Distress ink round the edges and matted onto kraft. The Robin circle sentiment is a stamp from an AALL&Create stamp set.I used inspiration from here for the background.

Just to let everyone know who asked about John -he has had a check up at Castle Hill hosp they have changed his meds and another one soon for another heart scan, also been referred back to memory clinic to check on his Dementia meds-he says he feels okay but at the moment having more bad days then good  :(  x x

Such a beautiful nature-inspired card. The robin on the branch is a lovely motif, and I like how you combined it with warm, bright colours. Your card has a wonderful vintage touch thanks to the kraft paper and the soft orange touch on the edges of your image. I'm sure the little bird will brighten somebody's day. Thanks for joining the Alphabet challenge.

Hugs, Veronika

Love this card! So beautiful with those colours and this technique makes the bird on the branch very unique. Hope that the new meds help your hubby and that the next scan will be good.
With the changes of season, Dementia always seems to get worse, but then there is an adjustment. Fingers crossed and take care of yourself

Love how you put this together Carol, it's really beautiful, gorgeous colouring too. You mentioned, about me using DI's for colouring? I love them, don't use much else now. Good to hear John is being checked up on, and they are watching his meds and his memory, it must be so hard for you. Big Hugs

Hi, Carol. I just had a nice little visit seeing everything for the last month. Wanted to let you know I stopped by and how much I enjoyed all your creations -- those darling little purses, the gorgeous blue iris, the notepad cover. Also, I scrolled through specifically looking for an update on John and found it here in this post. Life is full of trials. My heart is with you.
