Birds/Blooms and Butterflies

 Morning and I have made another tri-fold card using my new beautiful papers from Crafters Companion-I bought a boxful of a declutter page on FB-bargain! I added a few fussy cut butterflies, a hat and rabbit cut from Stamperia papers, the stamped sentiment and flower frame are from Prickly Pear  and circle dies are from My Favourite Things.

Smash Your Stash

 Morning and last Saturday of the month means it's Smash Your Stash junk journal challenge with my blogging friend Vicki from Stamped Smiles who makes fabulous cards and journal pages so please check out her blog.

The prompt this month is New Challenge/Technique which I struggled with a bit-then I found a ready made background in one of my junk journals, using real leaves to stamp onto a water colour background-distress inked the edges- the stamped sentiments are from Indigo Blu and AALL&Create. I then found two pieces I stamped with craft mag freebie stamps from years ago so I added distress inks round the edges and added them to page.

Butterfly Birthday

Morning and I have a card made which I followed a sketch challenge and using some new papers BUT I'm not totally happy with the result, I backed the papers on black thinking the colours would pop but I think it's had the opposite effect and dulled them down-I should have stuck with white!!! The paper is from a box full of papers from Crafters Companion which were a bargain on a FB decluttering page. The frame dies are from Crafters Companion too had those a while, the stamped sentiment is a Stampin Up one.

More Blossomed Numbers

 Morning and time for our mid month(already!) post at Stamping Sensations and I have used another half of a stamp from the AALL&Create stamp set Blossomed Numbers, coloured with promarkers, and I stamped and cut a circle and some extra petals to put on 3-D foam. I cut a strip off the side to make it fit and added it along the bottom, some more dry wall lining behind the image.

Just Enough!

  Morning and I made a card for a sketch I liked the look of on Try a Sketch on Tuesday-I found a piece of p, paper in oddments that was only just big enough to get the three squares and strip out of  at a push so no idea what whose it was sorry! The stamped sentiment and stamped circle are from a Pickled Pear set that was gifted to me by a FB friend. The square dies are from The Works and the circle die from My Favourite Things. It looked a little stark so I doodled round all the edges with a fine liner pen. Please excuse the embossed line on last square -otherwise wouldn't have had enough and TBH not noticeable IRL-trust me lol.

Engagement Card?

Morning and I made an aperture card using inspiration from Alyson. I used a 12" p, paper cut just using the images which I have had for a few years, Circular die from My Favourite Things and wooden heart out of a set from The Works I was given. Have joined a crafters page on FB  who gives monthly prompts to use your stash,  This and That with Danni's Dreams. I have only used two of the prompts-12" papers and a heart -thought it could maybe be an anniversary card ? Light not good as papers are slightly darker IRL!

Angled Pillar Card

 A little late today as meant to schedule this last night and completely forgot!!!  I made this 

Angled Pillar card. The card folds flat for posting into  5"x7". P. papers are from ScrapAndMe  and a strip from oddments which just fitted, die cut Antique frames from Penny Black.

Using Pretty Paper

Morning and we are back at Scrapping4Fun with our first ATG challenge of the year and also a DT Call. I made a simple birthday card for a 4yrs old using  a sheet of pretty paper from Stamperia- Happy Birthday cut with a Tonic die and done.

Another Folio

 Morning and I have two DT posts today-the second one is for the Pinks/Purples challenge at Dragonfly Dreams, chosen by Deanne.

I have made another folio inspired by Pinky.

I used papers from 13 Arts and scraps from ScrapsAndMe and CraftOClock, a repurposed ATC in the back, stamp and sentiment on the front from Hero Arts a stamp set sent to me from a FB friend.

Hand Coloured Image Challenge

Morning and the card I have two DT posts today-the first one  is for the  new Hand Coloured Image/ATG challenge at  Stamping Sensations-prizes are  Crafty Roo stamp sets from 

Grafton Crafts. 

I have a new  AALL&Create stamp-Blossomed Numbers-now this is a set of two very large stamps, which I stamped and then cut in half  actually I think it's only a third TBH, then  coloured with promarkers. The frame is a die-cut from Heffy Doodles(now closed) The background is an oddment I found of inky sprayed cardstock which only needed a slight trim to fit my card and added a strip of dry wall webbing.

Some of you may have seen this card earlier as I posted it 3 days early!!!

GD at Creative Creases

Morning and today I am GDT at Creative Creases. I made this card using all offcuts of paper from ScrapAndMe and The Works. I made a triangular pocket  with another off cut inside and the watering can of lavender was cut from that piece so it would fit in the pocket. I made this card as a new home card for my Daughters friend. My card is 8"x7" and scored at 1 and a half" and 3" then just cut a triangular piece to make a pocket or not!

Loaded Pocket and Folio

Morning and 1st of the month and the New Year-hopefully better t than the last - my post today is my first DT card for the ATG challenge at Love to Craft.

I made a loaded pocket using papers from ScrapAndMe,  I wasn't happy with it, then I made a folio to go inside and ended up quite pleased with it lol. Lots of oddments of paper from scrap box and lots are Tim Holtz I have had for years. Pockets cut with a die set from Scrapbook.com(thank you Vicki) Apologies for pics as light not good and papers are slightly darker IRL.
