Just a mixed craft post today -the first crochet blankie is the 13th one I have made for Hollie since she was born-she is now 16yrs and still has them all on her bed. She picked the colours and must admit this is my favourite of them all -my fave colour being green-it measures 4ft x4ft and was definitely a labour of love.

Beautiful blanket Carol love the greens…we have only has a very light cover and it’s all gone now,the sun is shining but staying warm in my craft room xxx

Hope the snow doesn't hang around too long Carol, think it's meant to be getting milder- not a fan of snow as early as November (well at any time really!)

Oh, your beautiful blankets! I love that Hollie keeps all 13 on her bed. My mom made oodles of these as lap blankets for nursing home patients. Helen's artwork has always blown me away. I was stunned the first time you showed it and I'm still stunned. You are a very talented family!

Lovely crochet work Carol, those types of blankets are very warm and cozy. Helen's pencil drawings are superb, they must have taken ages to do.
