Happy Birthday

Morning and first of all I would like to say thank you for all your lovely comments on my Millie post and for understanding-they were all really appreciated so a thank you.
I have a comfy pillow I sleep on but spent the night in here lol.

My card today came about really easily and as really pleased with it. I have a little pile of oddment strips which has been getting bigger and bigger-so I covered a piece of white cardstock with a selection, and only  had to have a tiny bit cut off the length-then onto black cardstock. The papers ere mainly Stampin Up, some Polka Doodles and Paper Favourites which I have had for a good couple of years-maybe even more! The Happy Birthday die was from Tonic and I even remembered to stack it!

Please note if any challenges have digi images for prizes I am just playing for fun and support as I don't have a printer

Challenges-----
lil red wagon-L for leftovers
fabnfunky-dies/punches
as you like it-favourite colour-green has always been my favourite colour and luckily had a few leftovers mainly green.
krafty chicks-masculine?
GCFAOS-ATG+papers
paper rocks scissors-ATG/used scissors to cut the lengths shorter
crafters cafe-for the girls/ATG

Thank you for dropping by and any comments are much appreciated.

I love the paper strip background. I did that last year with a few Christmas cards. I save cardstock pieces, also for die cutting. I have so many sorted by colors. The folders are bulging over. It's probably time to start getting rid of some pieces.

Thanks for sharing at Crafty Catz and Fab'n'Funky Challenges.
PS Many years ago we had a cat whose favourite place to sleep was inside a plastic bag! I had to be so careful not to leave any he could get inside as I was terrified he would suffocate! (He didn't!)

I love when a card comes together so easily, especially when it's extra pretty, too! Millie just had to claim that box at least for one night. She's all cat, for sure!

Carol, this was such a beautiful follow on and I have to say that photo of Millie in the box completely melted me 🐾💕 Not on the comfy pillow of course but proudly parked in a cardboard box like it was a five star suite. That little face peeking up is pure personality. And then this fabulous birthday card with all those gorgeous textured strips and lush greens and that bold Happy Birthday sentiment just popping off the page, it is such a joyful contrast. Your post feels full of warmth and gentle joy and seeing Millie alongside your beautiful card making just adds another layer of love. Thank you for sharing these precious moments, they really do stay with us 😊✨

Fantastic card and use of the papers. Ive given up buying nice beds for my cats as they all prefer a tatty cardboard box, and then they all fight over who gets the new cardboard box! lol

Great use of strips to create a different & awesome Birthday card!

Such a striking mix of patterns and textures. The way the strips line up creates a clean, rhythmic background, and the greens pull everything together so naturally. The stacked sentiment has great presence against all that detail. It is always satisfying to see scraps turn into something this polished and full of energy.
