First Christmas Card

Morning and I have one of those cards which worked in my mind but then not happy with result, think it's because not in a Christmas mood still here it is!!! I used my new Sweet Poppy stencil, stamped banner and sentiment from an Indigo Blu freebie set with the latest Creative Stamping mag, coloured with promarkers  and the die-cut bows were a gift in a card swap so no packaging sorry.

Please note if any challenges have digi images for prizes I am just playing for fun and support as I don't have a printer.

Its gorgeous Carol, I think the colour is really pretty too, I love this stencil, it took me ages to get my hands on one last year and I have only used it once, sadly, I should pull it out. xx

This is so lovely Carol! The stenciled ornament is beautiful and the pretty layered bow is the perfect touch. Thanks for sharing your inspiration with the October Challenge at A Cut Above.

I love it, the colour combo is not the typical one and that makes it more original. Hugs, María.

It's super pretty and I love the soft colours Carol. I struggle to get into Christmas mode every year and I won't mention how close it's getting now lol.

I have long admired that stencil. I love the color you used to create the image. And I think your card is lovely, even if you're not totally happy with it.

You might not be too happy with it, but it works. I like you used a scallop edge base card which adds to the elegance. CarolG

Fabulous festive card. Its so annoying when we have a vision in our mind but just doesn't come out as good as we see it.....often happens to me. Hopefully you find your Christmas mojo soon, hard cards to make when not in the mood!

Your first Christmas card is a beauty! That lovely stencil works so well in pink. I like to make at least one pink Christmas card each year. The extra little die cut bows are an especially nice touch!
