One Layer cards

Another Monday morning,another new week,another new challenge at ARTISTIC INSPIRATIONS and that challenge is wait for it-----One Layer cards and our sponsor is DIGISTAMPS4JOY.I have used their beautiful image "Tulip Basket"coloured with promarkers and I stamped the edges with the edge of another stamp.I stamped a sentiment and cut the small card with a Spellbinders die.To be honest I was dreading making a one layer card but must admit I am happy with the result.

Feet up and a Cuppa

My title is the name of the image I have used today "Feet up and a Cuppa" from DR Digi's House of Stamps who along with The paper Shelter are sponsoring the challenge at 613 Avenue Create which is "Create Your Own Challenge".from our grid you must choose 1-3 items from EACH column.My image is coloured with promarkers,papers are "Home grown" from HOTP,and I have used 1-image/patterned paper/solid colour paper==2-shaped card/die cuts/punch===3-glossy accents/liquid pearls==4-buttons==5-twine/faux stitching.

Bingo

Tuesday morning and that means another new challenge at LEJ DESIGNS and the challenge is "Lots of Layers".Mine hasn't got as many layers as I would have liked,but after having to buy a new printer -as Matthew took the printer when they moved house(well it was his and he needs it for work)then I couldn't get the laptop to recognise it(what did it expect a printer to look like anyway!!!)Had to wait for Matthew to call in then I couldn't get it to print aaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!so it ended up being a very quick card this after-noon,hopefully this printer has got over its hissy fit!ANYWAY I used a new digi from Lindsay "Gertrude" at the Bingo,coloured with promarkers,Tim Holtz B.paper,hessian mesh,bulldog clip from stash and die corners,kraft cardstock from Papermill Direct.It's also my birthday today and Ellie and Holly-Anne are coming for lunch instead of staying pack-up at school,and Helen is coming later too.OOH not going to see girls for lunch after all they are both in bed ill with some kind of virus so will have to visit later .

Happy Birthday La-La

Good morning to you all hope you had a great weekend.I was complaining about the quiet house after everyone moved out-THEN I picked Ellie and Holly-Ann up after school on Friday and brought them back for tea WELL it was like two whirlwinds in the house lol,and I went round for a roast dinner on Sunday,O/H stayed at home(doesn't eat out)well to be fair doesn't eat much in either he sat in the garden as was really warm yesterday.
This weeks challenge at TAMMY'S SCRAPIN CORNER is another easy one "Happy Birthday" and I have used the image "La-La" from our sponsor Birdie Brown,coloured with promarkers,coloured cardstock from Papermill Direct,and used dies,dewdrops,liquid pearls and paper from stash.

Wintry Christmas card

Morning everyone and hope your enjoying your weekend and can find time to join our new challenge at One Stitch at a Time another easy peasy one ATG the winner who uses A Stitchy Bear Outlet stamp(bet you have at least one in your images)wins the set of Digis used by the DT in challenge 180.I was given the image "Wintertree" and chose not to add any colour just glamour dust to add to the icy feel.I embossed the linen card (from Papermill Direct)on my score board,used my two new Memory Box dies-Precious Snowflakes(I cut off the bows and added them seperatley) and Pine needle border,ribbon and liquid gems from stash.

Bitter sweet image

Hi everyone- just found this card I haven't blogged yet so here it is,taking forever though Puddlenut keeps walking over the keyboard and having to keep deleting stuff!!!The quirky image "Bitter sweet" is from Stamping chef,coloured with promarkers,coloured cardstock from Papermill Direct,B.paper from Man about town CD,and a few dies.

Flowers galore and Panpastels

Morning everyone and today is the start of a new challenge at Happy Campers and the challenge is sooooooo easy "Show is Ya Flowers" now how easy is that???and the challenge runs for a month so no excuse really.I made a card posted it but wasn't happy with it soooo deleted it before (hopefully) Kath didnt see it, and I decorated a chipboard heart-from Joanna Sheen,coloured with yellow/orange and red panpastels-my first attempt too-thought it was about time I used them,only had them since March lol.I then stamped the flower image -a freebie stamp from Craft stamper mag onto the heart then onto then onto three different scraps of paper from stash,I cut into the petals for dimension,added buttons and dewdrops and ribbon from stash.

I am using an iphone for taking and uploading pics,BUT I crop and save the images then when I upload them to blog they are still not cropped as I would like-any advice would be appreciated.
