Steampunk Telsa

Morning and the start of another week -hope you are all well and ready for our new challenge at Crafting From The Heart which is ATG and our sponsor is Nikki Burnette and I chose the image "Steampunk Telsa" coloured with promarkers,cardstock from Papermill Direct,chipboard key daubed with TH Brushed Pewter,clock die from marianne Craftables,the metal button was recycled from can't even remember what lol.I had actually cut a circle from the middle of the corrugated recycled packaging because I had embossed the brown card bottom layer with TH cogs EF,then ended up covering it up completely!!!After seeing Fionas card I now wish I had cut the image out and some of the embossing would have been shown lol.Steampunk is not my favourite style,bit out of my comfort zone lol but am pretty pleased how this turned out.

Sapphire and Summer Kisses

Morning everyone and hope you are all well-we have a new challenge starting today at 613 Avenue Create which is ATG/Sapphire which is the September month Birthstone colour.Sponsoring us are Rick St Dennis and Flat Friends Boutique whose image I used-Summer Kisses,coloured with promarkers and added glossy accents,cardstock from Papermill Direct,liquid pearls and twine from stash,the white on the B.card is not light shine I used glossy card and swirled Faded Jeans distress ink and I used 3-D foam between each layers.

Mixed media midway reminder

Today is a reminder post about the mixed media challenge at Where The Heart is Challenge.This card was oedered for a first anniversary and was personalised inside,I used a Digi Darla image "Heart Wreath With Birds",coloured with promarkers,cardstock from Papermill Direct,the first layer was stamped with script and embossed with white EP for the second layer I covered card with gesso then stamped smaller images and flourishes using distress inks,added another layer of card and distressed all edges added selection of dies over a layer of tulle,handmade flowers,dewdrops and pearls from stash,I used silicone between each layer for depth.
