Rubber Band Stamping

First of all welcome to my new follower JANETTE.
I was trawling through you tube and saw this technique which reminded me I used elastic(or laggy bands as we call them lol) bands round a piece of doubled up cardboard a few years ago and would you believe still had it in my bits and bobs jar!!!So fished it out and had a go -I masked off a centre section and used oxide ink pad on the bands instead of pens and didn't spray with the water,I then sponged on a lighter colour. The image is from Inkylicious and the stamped sentiment was a craft mag freebie.I was also inspired by the new "Up to one third" challenge at AAA Cards.

So very cool - your compilation of techniques - and brilliant to use the middle third of the panel for your design.

This is stunning, Carol. I wouldn't guess you used elastic bands to create these beautiful stripes. Very inspiring. Hugs, my dear friend.

This is a cool technique that I haven't done in forever! We used to wrap the rubber bands on our brayers, but your method gives you more control. It's somehow perfect for this image. Very graphic and artsy!
