Tissue Box Cover

Morning and we have a new ATG/Make or Decorate a Container at 613 Avenue Create twist suggested by Chana.
I made a tissue box cover simple right? WRONG made three different lids before I managed to make it fit ??? I blame my embossing board for the score lines lol. Then I used pink B.paper and flowers-a big no no to start again and satisfied with this one lol.
The papers are from The Works, dies from Spellbinders and Creative Dies,I heat embossed the Chocolate Baroque Bee.

It's so clever to use bugs on your tissue box cover in case someone's "Caught a bug!" LOL I have to make more again soon, as mine are outdated now. This is such a cute and fun project and it turned out really nice!

I had so smile whilst reading this Carol as it all sounds really familiar. I often think I'll make a quick box and it turns out to be a half day project in the end! Needless to say, you've done a great job here and the bee looks great. Thank you for joining us in our 'Things With Wings' challenge at Stamping Sensations and good luck. Sandra x

Great project, Carol!

I love this project. I know your pain. I was working on a project for this challenge and it is still sitting on my work table. Four tries totally did not work and then the grandkids were here. Maybe I can finish it and post before the month ends.

Congrats on hanging in there and ending up with a great project and some beautiful techniques.

Hugz,
Chana

Oh this is so pretty Carol ! It's funny that you made a tissue box cover because I was thinking of making one for my veterinarian . It seems like it so often people come out of the vets crying . I love the bee.

Chriss

Gorgeous work Carol..love the colours too and the bee..
You asked about my background..I had 4 sheets of 10x10 woodgrain papers and 2 of them had leaves floating down so I use those..sometimes they are just not big enough..

I think we have all been there Carol. All your designs look great, shame they didn't all work out, but the end result looks fab.

I have the directions and I've always meant to make one of these. I even have the box of tissues to go inside. I love this in the wood grain paper. There can be lots of trial and error in crafting. You wouldn't believe how long it took me to make an extremely simple card this morning.
