I went with the colour scheme and uses part of a large stamp from AALL&Create, coloured with promarkers, sentiment I received in a previous card swap, background I made embossing lines on cardstock then swiping over with ink pad, script stamp was a craft mag freebies from years ago. Sadly this will be my last card as our local post offices have closed and the nearest one is now two bus rides away.
Please note if any challenges have digi images for prizes I am just playing for fun and support as I don't have a printer

Beautiful card Carol, love the colours and the vintage grunge feel. What a shame about your local post offices closing. Could you buy your postage online then drop off in a local post box? Xx
That's a beautiful card you have made Carol. I love the plank technique and it works so well with the large flower. My local post office has closed and we now have to go to Shopping Centre. Luckily it's not too far but they are now talking about it being closed too!
A gorgeous colour palette and stamped images, I pay for postage online and the postman collects it
A lovely bright card and so effective with the panelling. What a shame that you have no local PO anymore. Thanks also for sharing with us at We Love Stamping. (BTW you haven't linked your tulip card yet?)
This is super, Carol! What a stunning creation. Thanks for being a link in our chain again, Jo x
What a lovely design here Carol! Wonderful background with the inked embossing, the half of a large book and text pieces! So sorry you have lost easy access to the post office!?! Julia xx
Just GORgeous! I LOve these colours and a fab design.
Thank you so much for sharing it with us at Crafty Catz.

Prachtige creatie Carol.

Gorgeous card Carol, love how you used the large stamp, never think to use just a part of the stamp but a clever way to get some extra mileage. Shame about the post office, won't be any left soon!
xx
Thanks for joining in at Crafty Catz, your support is always much appreciated!

This is such a warm and lovely card! It's a shame about the post office closing. It has happened here in the states, too. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't mail my cards.
Beautiful work as always, thanks for sharing!!!
Beautiful card! Your post office closing is a sad state of affairs...
Thanks for joining us at Allsorts challenge.
Beautiful card Carol, love the sunflower and your background is always fabulous, I try, but normally mess it up, too heavy handed..what a shame about the post office, ours have all shut down too, we have one at the chemist and they are insane and cant price properly and one at another shopping center which I can still walk too, but would rather not, our bus service used to come past my house and the stop was two doors down has now been re routed, and who wants to walk for 1/2 hour to catch a stupid bus !! the taxi cab companies are very happy to swindle an old lady out of 16 buks to take her to town..ha ha ha..and BACK!!!

Love that giant sunflower stamp and you have used the colours so well. Sorry to hear your post office has closed. I tend to do all my postage online now and if you haven't got a printer the postman can bring the label and then take your post xx
Beautiful jumbo flower, Carol - love your take on the colors! Hope you can find a way to stay on the chain with the suggestions from UK folks, otherwise we'll miss you! Hugs!!
Lovely with the half sunflower - such a pretty card! The postal service seems to be struggling everywhere... we have been through 2 postal strikes the last year and the future isn't looking good.
