Collab-Holidays

Sunday morning means a new challenge at ONE STITCH AT A TIME and this week it's a collab week.The designers have provided unseen images under the heading Holidays for
STITCHY BEAR OUTLET and that is the prize for the winner,the collection is also a freebie for when you spend a certain ammount in store,after the offer they are available to but from store-hope you can join us.I coloured my image with promarkers,papers from Lawn Fawn,cardstock from papermill Direct,and added my new gate die.

Holiday thanks

Thank you for all your messages about hubby he actually fractured a couple of ribs and just starting to catch up with sleep after 3 sleepless nights.he is still in agony but will take time.The new challenge today at 613 AVENUE CREATE is "Holiday Thanks" so that means a holiday themed card/item for hostess or gift received.The sponssor is BUGABOO and I have used their image "Ruby-Thanksgiving" coloured with promarkers,coloured cardstock from Papermill Direct,papers-craft mag freebie,ribbon,liquid pearls/pearls from stash,I glamour dusted the dies as frost.I also made a milk carton to match and to hold a gift.

Stressed out!!!

UPDATE COUPLE OF FRACTURED RIBS!Morning everyone hope you are all faring better than me at the moment I don't know whether to laugh or cry!!!About midnight Monday night O/H fell backwards down the stairs,hurting his back and chest,wouldn't let me ring an ambulance because of the time?spent all night in agony and at 5o'clock said to ring one,I got up got the cats fed and out of the way,got dressed afte which he said dont bother I feel more comfortable now-anyway mid morning I ended up ringing one and the woman who came examined him and said in my opinion?it's just muscular and they will give you pain relief and send you home,so because he did't want to go infirst place said okay he wouldn't bother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!now he can hardly breathe or talk without pain but because of his age (64)and in bad health anyway I think they should have taken him without choice.Then this morning I got up and the hamster(which we are looking after for grandaughter Ellie)cage door was open and the hamster was laid dead in the middle of the room,there was no marks on it at all just a few wet parts,so we are not sure if the kitten killed it or played with it and gave it a heart attack as it was old-the bad news was given as died in her sleep and after a few tears for her beloved pet asked her Dad,can I have a rabbit now???Now holding my breath for the next emergency.
I made this card the other day,now panicking to blog it in time.It started off as a very CA card then I couldn't stop and here is the result.Pre-coloured Mos Digital image topper from Hobby House,just added glamour dust,linen and coloured cardstock from Papermill Direct,a few die-cuts,dewdrops and liquid pearls from stash.

Gone Fishing

Gone Fishing is the name of Lindsays Image that I have used for the new challenge at LEJ DESIGNS-"Monochromatic".My Dad loved beach fishing and we had this song played at his funeral four years ago.The humanist gave me the CD afterwards but haven't been able to face listening to it.So why use the image ?????because I left the card until last minute as have been babysitting grandaughters on half-term and their Mum and Dad at work,I then realised I lost all Lindsays stored images when memory stick broke and printer inks not arrived yet,luckily I found this image at the bottom of my box of images.I used promarkers,craft mag freebie paper,and a couple of dies,all coloured cardstock from Papermill Direct.

Decorative box

Morning everyone can you believe we are into November already?Actually the temperature here yesterday felt like December!!!We had our grandaughters Ellie and Holly-Ann on Saturday whilst their Mum and Dad were at work.Holly asked what was for lunch and I said pigs bum and cabbage quick as a flash she said uurrg I don't want cabbage!We also had a visit from our little grandson Jozef and his Mum.Four months old now and really laughing and chuckling and is very taken with Holly-Ann and Ellie.I have a little decorative box to show you today,I just made a simple box shaped and decorated with die-cuts.I got the inspiration from Taras craft studiocheck out her blog there is some fantastic projects.

A Christmas lamp
