Smash Your Stash Journal Challenge

WOW the last Saturday of May and time for the Smash Your Stash journal page challenge with Vicki so please check out her beautiful page-the theme this month is ephemera/chipboard/cut outs.

I have a box with journal full of bits and found a great stamped piece then just about covered it up! Had a vintage pic already printed for a project but was too big so tore of the edges and found two photo mount stickers no idea where from -didn't even know I had them lol-some little postcards /dry wall mesh/corrugated cardboard/two butterflies I found/ a rose cut from wrapping paper and a little freebie sentiment from TLC Designs quite a few years ago.

Tried to splatter with a Graphik pen which was a bit of a disaster came out as blobs and then stupidly tried to dab them and made it worse.

I don't think you made it worse with trying to dab up the splatters! It just adds to the unique look of a journaling page! Great layering and design using all those wonderful bits!

You found some fabulous pieces in your stash Carol, I could really do with smashing my own stash (if time ever allows).. I'm so impressed with how you colour co-ordinated it all, a perfect marriage as if every piece was just meant to be. So happy to see you join us again @ Creative Artiste and play along with our Mixed Media challenge.
Creative best wishes Tracey xx

It may be the end of May but it sure doesn't feel like it - it actually feels like it is getting colder. That aside, your journal page looks amazing. I do not think your smooched blobs spoil it at all, in fact, they add to that vintage look. Great job.
